Based on recent reports surrounding the release of Jeffrey Epstein-related documents by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in December 2025 and February 2026, there are confirmed reports of files “disappearing” from public view.
Rothschild Mentions: Despite claims of missing files, documents mentioning the Rothschild family (specifically Ariane de Rothschild) have appeared in the released materials, with, for example, 2016 emails between Epstein and Ariane de Rothschild being cited.
The DOJ reported that they took down thousands of documents and “media” that might have inadvertently included victim-identifying information.
The released documents (often referred to as the “Epstein Library”) contain millions of pages, including flight logs and, for some, heavily redacted, already-circulated, or non-bombshell information.
In summary, while the DOJ has been criticized for removing documents and extensive redactions, the focus of the public outcry regarding “missing” files has mostly centered on photos of high-profile individuals, rather than a specific disappearance of files related to the Rothschilds.
So, yeah, it was well below market price.

Supposedly Wexner sold the six story townhouse on the upper east side for $1 becaue he really appreciated Epstein’s financial expertise. It was worth $25-35 Million. Was eventually valued at $65 Million. Sold at a big discount after Epstein’s death for $29 million to the CEO of Goldman Sachs. It was the largest residence in Manhattan at one time.
