Since 1 Jan, there’s no longer a $200 tax on BATFE Form 4s or Form 1s so you can do this all day long and it costs nothing. He’s put it on a Form 1 so it’s obviously a homemade device.
In fact, the day the change went into effect, ATF received 150,000 Form 4s for suppressors. The average is 2500 a day, so obviously a whole bunch of people had been waiting for the tax to go away.
Well, we are certainly having fun now, aren’t we.
