🔴 Gov. Murphy commutes the sentences of 33 convicted killers. 🔴 Includes one woman who was found guilty of burning her toddlers to death. 🔴 A full list of pardoned and commuted individuals is below.
Victims’ families criticize release of convicted killers The governor's pardons have been controversial, especially those decisions to free individuals who were behind bars for taking another life. In December, family members of two slain victims told the Asbury Park Press that they were outraged by Murphy's commutations.
Before today, Murphy had freed 31 convicted killers. The governor has now more than doubled that number. In total, he has granted clemency to 64 killers.

I hope some of the victims’ families and friend will take justice into their own hands now since the state refuses.
Why is these judges and governors who reward murderers and criminals are not paid back by those they pardon?
you forgot woodrow wilson ...
Did the pardons just apply to murders they already committed or did they include a free pass for murders they would commit in the future?
A key element of our system of government is checks-and-balances. But governors and the president can pardon without check.
The Founders messed up here by giving executives this king-like power.
A decent check would be to allow the legislature to override a pardon just as they can override a veto. Too late now.
Did the governor give a reason for these pardons? No doubt to correct the “inequity” of the criminal justice system or something.
The Old Testament cities of refuge were of the nature that the criminal went there to live in a totally lawless society. If they left the city of refuge, the family could exact punishment. I would say the families of the victims may be tempted to seek revenge.
Another Goldman Sachs A****LE
Murphy is human garbage. NJ has over 60 convicted murderers loose because of this POS. He previously released another 31 of these subhumans. Some or most will murder again. He should be charged as an accessory if they do. That POS should get ass cancer and waste away slowly.
May Murphy’s karma come quickly!
I am glad that I left that shithole 25 years ago. Democrats absolutely ruined that state.
This is one reason why those convicted of murder should be executed immediately.
I IRS always knows how much money I made, and tells me If I got it wrong and sends me a correction bill. How come they can’t catch these fuckers?
You are too kind.
May death soon befall mister m#rphy.
