The article link-click goes to a post titled "Scots, Wha Hae wi' Wallace Bled (Custom Piano Recording) - Salute to The Donald" from about three hours after the state-sanctioned homicide of Ashli Babbitt. Lyrics are from a poem by Scottish national poet Robbie Burns, deliberately framing it as a speech by Robert the Bruce before the Battle of Bannockburn (1314) in which the Scots beat the pants off the English troops of King Edward II who at 15,000–20,000 heavily outnumbered the Scots at 5,000–7,000.
(It goes to a centuries old Scottish tune, "Hey Tuttie Tattie", "Onomatopoeia" for the sound of a military band, in that time, pipes and drums. "Onomatopoeia is a type of word, or the process of creating a word, that phonetically imitates, resembles, or suggests the sound that it describes. Common onomatopoeias in English include animal noises such as oink, meow, roar, and chirp, among other sounds such as beep or hiccup." The "Hey Tuttie Tattie" is the sound of the military pipe-band snare drums. "Hey Tuttie Tattie" is used in the finale of Max Bruch's Scottish Fantasy.)
I have few gifts, not among them, especially a "truth teller" fearlessly saying the plain truth against opponents—my wife is a truth-teller, she amazes me how she just calmly and even lovingly lets it all hang out, and the wrong-thinkers just stand there with their mouths open.
But what I do have is a bloodhound-acute sense of dead-rat-stinko-lies that I can detect from 10 miles away. I knew while the January 6, 2021 Fed-Sur-Rection was in progress, that it most closely resembled the Reichstag Fire which was started by a poor lunatic who went to the guillotine for it.
Okay, the people who were unwise enough to go into the U.S. Capitol as if they were friendly tourists, are largely guilty of terminal naivete for not seeing they were being set up. The penalty for that can be grossly excessive in a time of civil strife.
Compare it to the bridegroom character in the Italian Dickens' "The Betrothed" (The Promised Espoused, I Promessi Sposi) by Alessandro Manzoni:
The bridegroom was Renzo (Lawrence) Tramaglino, a hick silk-weaver from the out in the country who, like Charlie Chaplin in Modern Times, accidentally got to the head of the 1628 bread riots in Milan, so that the police were out to hang him.
Renzo's fiance, Lucia Mondella, became a "contestant" in a bet by a minor Lombard nobleman, Don Rodrigo, with Count Attilio, Don Rodrigo’s cousin, that he could seduce Lucia by St. Martin's Day, November 11.
Renzo and Lucia have to escape from the rural town of Pescarenico, a small fishing village on the Adda River, just outside Lecco, in Spanish-ruled Lombardy, in the early 1600s.
Renzo ends up in Milan, foolishly speaks publicly in support of the bread riots, police spies overhear him in a tavern, soon his is publicly wanted to be speedily hung.
I have a wealty relative who is firmly committed to the narrative of the "dangerous insurrectionist threat to our fundamental, democratic way of life", virtually as a civil religion.
His people will be back in power soon.
Nice knowin' ya.

Chaplin’s Tramp is walking along a street when a truck hauling industrial scrap loses a red warning flag (used simply to mark an overhanging load).
Ever oblivious—the Tramp picks up the flag and runs after the truck, waving it high to get the driver’s attention.
Behind him, out of frame at first, a workers’ demonstration turns onto the street. To the police and bystanders, the sight is unmistakable: a man at the head of a marching crowd, waving a red flag.
The Tramp suddenly realizes the crowd is following him—but too late. Police seize him as the presumed communist ringleader, despite his complete innocence and confusion.

If you come back to the article, you can sing the lyrics to Robbie Burns' song, Scots, Wha Hae wi' Wallace Bled, to honor The Donald.
Renzo, the bridegroom; Lucia, the bride; don Abbondino, the priest who won't marry them because don Rodrigo's henchment who look like the Zig-Zag man threaten him; Fra Crisotoforo, an heroic priest who had killed a man in a vendetta and converted to active Christianity; Azzeccagarbugli, "Quibbleweaver", an attorney who turns on Renzo when he seeks legal redress; Innominato, a thoroughly evil and powerful mafia chief whom everyone is terrified of, whose name can't be pronounced, except as "The Nameless", and is converted by St. Charles Borromeo's saintly cousin Federico; Gertrude the Nun of Monza who was the daughter of a high noble family, was forced into a convent, took it over, committed adultery and murder, and turned Lucia back over to don Rodrigo for pay and power.
Today had that nice wintertime gun-metal-gray sky, but wasn't bad. Kinda bright, sunlight filtered through the overcast. Apparently it's going to get up into the low 50s later this week. My kind of winter, so far. Also, FR has been great so far this week.
