Hey Tuttie Tatie isn't cat-calling the Bar Maid of Heaven (Gilgamesh), the song title is from a trumpet salute.
Robert the Bruce's army piped Hey Tuttie Tatie at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314.
And the Scots played Hey Tuttie Tatie for Saint Joan the Maid when they went to France to support her in her Siege of Orleans in 1472, her intial outing as general after the English had defeated the French in the Battle of Agincourt.
