MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- Kerri Aherne, the woman who allegedly stabbed a tourist from California in a Macy's bathroom as the victim was changing her 10-month-old daughter, was previously arrested in Massachusetts for threatening to kill Senator Elizabeth Warren, according to the Manhattan district attorney's office.

Per the story: Massachusetts had locked her up in a mental hospital after she threatened to kill Elizabeth Warren.

But being Massachusetts, they then let her out on temporary leave.

She took an Uber out of state, wound up in NYC, where she is apparently homeless.

Looking on the positive side, the California couple should feel right at home ....
