Hilton Corporate has finally taken action against the despicable ‘independent’ Hilton hotel in Minneapolis that banned ICE and DHS agents, thanks to the dogged efforts of independent conservative journalist Nick Sortor.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Department of Homeland Security’s X account shared a disturbing email on Monday showing that Hilton Hotels had abruptly cancelled reservations for DHS officers in Minneapolis for daring to round up dangerous illegal aliens.
The specific Hilton hotel in question is the Hampton Inn Lakeville property.
“After further investigation online, we have found information about immigration work connected to your name, and we will be canceling your reservation,” the email read.
In another email, the hotel warned patrons that “if you are DHS or immigration, please let us know, as we will have to cancel your reservation.”
After the DHS rightfully expressed its outrage, Hilton Corporate announced in a statement that it would investigate the matter.
Hilton Corporate later released a statement saying they had been in touch with the hotel’s independent ownership, Everpeak, who apologized and assured them the situation had been rectified. DHS agents would supposedly be allowed to return to the establishment.
But Sortor went to the hotel Monday night and quickly discovered that the statement was an outright lie.
The journalist went to the front desk and asked the front desk to book some rooms for DHS agents. He had previously conducted research and knew that there were 10 rooms available.
But the front desk clerk informed Sortor that the anti-immigration law enforcement order remained in effect, contrary to management’s previous statement. He made it clear that he had just spoken to the owner, who confirmed that no changes had been made.

🚨 BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: I went into the Minnesota Hilton who “apologized” for banning DHS agents, and EXPOSED them for CONTINUING to ban DHS agents@HiltonHotels has decided they want the FULL BUDLIGHT treatment at this point.

Following the release of Sortor’s video, Hilton released a statement calling out the owner for lying and announced they were taking “immediate action” to remove the hotel from their systems.
From Hilton:
The independent hotel owner had assured us that they had fixed the problem and published a message confirming this. A recent video clearly raises concerns that they are not meeting our standards and values.
As such, we are taking immediate action to remove this hotel from our systems. Hilton is and has always been and remains a welcoming place for all.
When Logan’s Roadhouse went bankrupt here and they closed their restaurant, their huge signage out on the street was taken down before the end of that day...............
Parmjit Singh, Amanpreet Hundal, Karandeep Nagra, and Mohinderjeet Kaur, according to filings with the Minnesota secretary of state.

Probably most of the staff are illegal. Can’t have a hotel full of ICE wandering around.
Trump should but the place and turn it into the most luxurious hotel in all of Minnesota...a five star hotel next to a Walmart, Welcome to America!!!
IT DOESN’T MATTER. FRANCHISES ARE SOLD WITH THEIR NAME ON IT. I WOULD DIRECT ALL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO DISCONTINUE USING HILTON AND/OR IT FRANCHISEES IN THE FUTURE. THAT WILL WAKE THEM UP!
Amazing that there wasn’t a “real” journalist who could have looked into this.
Newsweek, though, did ask DHS if the *real* journalist could represent himself as with the DHS. Shoot the messenger.
Thank God for people like Nick willing to go to them on the front lines. He handled himself well and with grace. A good example to follow.
I seriously doubt a Patel would refuse money. From anyone.
Yup—citizen journalists need to understand that the mainstream media is their sworn enemy—and will do anything to destroy citizen journalism.
We are winning and will win this fight—but all who participate in it must fully understand who they can and cannot trust.
I agree with you. Until I see video evidence of removed branding, my personal boycott remains in place.
They would have to change their signs to OYO?
FWIW, just checked out the Hampton Inn website. All rooms for all dates from today through the end of the year are “sold out” for the Lakeville, MN property. Hilton, at least, is not helping the hotel by accepting reservations on their website. We’ll see what other actions are taken.
The website shows multiple brands of hotels. Need someone to dig more into their other locations and brands and bring it all down.
That makes no sense. It was a franchisee who created the problem not the entire chain. And the chain (Everpeak) dealt with them harshly. What the hell more could they do?
“All rooms for all dates from today through the end of the year are “sold out” for the Lakeville, MN property.”
That sounds like a data error—suggesting a major overhaul is happening right now.
Minnesota hotels do not get sold out in January, February and March—for kinda obvious reasons.
We are not talking Vermont or Colorado ski resorts here.
Lol.
Nope, but same ethnicity.
“The LLC that was used to purchase the hotel is owned by four Indian partners—Parmjit Singh, Amanpreet Hundal, Karandeep Nagra, and Mohinderjeet Kaur—according to public records filed last June with the Minnesota Secretary of State.”
They probably had some time to plan for it.
They could just change the name to Ghilton, or hire some guy named Phil, call it the Philton.
Just need some sharpie markers and a little time to change all the logos and literature.
“Hilton Corporate has finally taken action...”
Finally? The local franchise owner cancelled the reservations at issue last Friday afternoon. Hilton investigated the cancellations and terminated the franchise in less than two business days. Seems to me that Hilton acted promptly and reasonably.
