A once-popular BREASTAURANT, Hooters, has closed suddenly at the off-Strip Oyo Las Vegas. It’s unknown if the shuttering was sparked by SAGGING business levels. Because if you thought we were going to do a story about Hooters without a “sagging” reference, you do not know this blog at all. This situation has drama written all over it. Oyo officially has no comment. The remaining dining options are thin at Oyo. Oyo Las Vegas was once Hooters Hotel & Casino. It was rebranded in 2019 and the Hooters restaurant survived the transition. When we hear what’s replacing it, we’ll keep you abreast of any news.

I used to go there once a year to watch NFL division playoffs-8 teams. Then Oya took over the hotel and the room prices went way up. Check in was at 4pm, not 3. Put up with it but this is now a show-stopper.
Ah the younger days-I guess times change. Fewer kids being born so that means fewer young women to work there.
Ruined by covid. They don't even go out.
Oyo is the kiss of death for a hotel. Once they put up that sign, they have officially bottomed out. It used to be America’s Best, but even they are better than Oyo.
Hooters girls or not, people don’t like to pay ballpark concession prices for cheap crappy snack food.
Early 90s, we used to go for lunch about once a month to the Hooters in the Cumberland-Galleria area in ATL, not far from where the Braves/Truist Field is today. Back then, you could get a quality grouper fish sandwich for lunch there, to heck with the wings. Those were the days!
Masculinization waning culturally
Vegas has priced themselves out of many tourists.
By the comments it seems the whole Oyo Complex sucks on several levels and the recent inflation throughout Las Vegas is the fork stuck into an already-struggling franchise.
Since it’s Vegas I’d have gone with a Super-Hooters concept where the uniforms are closer to bikini than sports outfits - but that’s not cool with the feminists or soy-latte’ boys who’d probably prefer a drag queen chicken hour.
Grouper sandwiches were like $9.99 back then. Who knows what they are now $17.99 or more probably.
There is a Cracker Barrell here. It’s on Dean Martin Dr.
I can claim a distinct honor to have been among the first patrons of the original Hooter’s on Hwy 60 in Clearwater, FL. in 1983. My wife and I went there many times, especially since I had relocated from TX to FL and for a time were staying in a motel down the street prior to moving into our first home in Safety Harbor. Loved the atmosphere and the ladies.
This article may perk some interest. Nothing sticks out for my taste though.
I sometimes watch videos of influencers who detail low rent Vegas hotels. The rooms, the amenities and etc.
OYO is THE worst. I wouldn’t stay there (or in any OYO) if you paid me.
HOOTERS goes BUST
Well, OK, I thought they already did that.
As an older man, I have found that sagging can still be acceptable and far better than nothing.
Ditto-U R funny.
Omni-can your wife compete with them? Most married women would be worried.
As long as they don’t look like bowling pins.
Hooters goes tits up.
