“It’s OK if we do it.” That is the legal reasoning behind this.

Both indictments were dismissed without prejudice, which typically means that the cases can be brought again.Do it right next time...remember, even though democrat corruption doesn't count, at least make sure the legalities are up to snuff.

However, the ruling by senior US District Judge Cameron Currie comes after the expiration of the five-year statute of limitations against Comey, likely meaning the case against him cannot be reopened.Just a coincidence I'm sure. /s

The decision was based on a technicality.
Not based on the merits of the case.
This is long from over.

The Republicans will do nothing.
Blondi is getting her hair dyed and nails done. Then she will spackle her face and shuffle papers on her desk.
Meanwhile, the clock is ticking on indicting the rats.
I am confident that nothing will be done.

Will Chamberlain, of the Article III Project says these dismaissals will be overturned in the Appeaals court, and if not there in the Supreme Counrt. But he fully expects that it will happen in the Appeals Court. He aslo said the the expiration date resets to another 6 months because the dimisal occured on a case having an indictment.
So, as Yogi Berra said; it ain't over until its over.
Let's all take a deep breath, relax and see how this plays out.

It’s a procedure thing. The judge pulled what Judge Cannon did to Jack Smith and said that the DOJ girl doesn’t exist.
DOJ will appeal.

(b) The Attorney General shall not appoint as United States attorney a person to whose appointment by the President to that office the Senate refused to give advice and consent.
(c) A person appointed as United States attorney under this section may serve until the earlier of—
(1) the qualification of a United States attorney for such district appointed by the President under section 541 of this title; or
(2) the expiration of 120 days after appointment by the Attorney General under this section.
(d) If an appointment expires under subsection (c)(2), the district court for such district may appoint a United States attorney to serve until the vacancy is filled. The order of appointment by the court shall be filed with the clerk of the court.
Erik Siebert’s appointment started the clock running. The executive branch is not allowed to fill the post with revolving interims.
