Judge dismisses cases against ex-FBI Director James Comey, NY AG Tish James

A federal judge dismissed the Virginia criminal cases against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James on Monday, finding that interim US Attorney Lindsey Halligan was improperly appointed to her position and “had no lawful authority” to secure indictments of either of President Trump’s longtime adversaries.

The humiliating defeat for the administration came 11 days after attorneys for both Comey and James had argued that Halligan had to be confirmed by the Senate after Attorney General Pam Bondi used up her allotted 120-day interim appointment on Erik Siebert, who resigned Sept. 19 after Trump publicly criticized him for not bringing charges against the former head of the FBI.

We all know that "it's not a crime when a Democrat does it".

At least according to Democrat judges.

A reckoning for this corrupted system is long overdue.

“It’s OK if we do it.” That is the legal reasoning behind this.

She lied? How did she lie? All I know is I do NOT like this Pam Bondi, Trump has to dump her NOW! I didn’t like her when she was first appointed, said she’s going to be another Sessions and Barr and that’s exactly how she turned out.

If the tables were turned Democrats would have every last person down to the pizza delivery guy indicted just for that Russia collusion hoax alone

Both indictments were dismissed without prejudice, which typically means that the cases can be brought again.

Do it right next time...remember, even though democrat corruption doesn't count, at least make sure the legalities are up to snuff.

I’m sorry – – I meant it’s OK for Comey to lie to Congress.

“how does 1 judge get both of these ?”

Easy. The democrats are known for their efficiency WHEN it comes to politics, lying, cheating and stealing. Heck the Nazi’s were efficient at some things.

Given the situation with Jack Smith the democrats are howling in laughter over this dismissal.

However, the ruling by senior US District Judge Cameron Currie comes after the expiration of the five-year statute of limitations against Comey, likely meaning the case against him cannot be reopened.

Just a coincidence I'm sure. /s

This isn’t actually a surprise, there were a few flaws in that indictment, like it was kind of planned to play out this way it seems.

The decision was based on a technicality.
Not based on the merits of the case.
This is long from over.

The Republicans will do nothing.

Blondi is getting her hair dyed and nails done. Then she will spackle her face and shuffle papers on her desk.

Meanwhile, the clock is ticking on indicting the rats.

I am confident that nothing will be done.

Blondi is feckless. Trump needed a seasoned tough AG and FBI chief. He got neither.

All I know is I do NOT like this Pam Bondi,

I do not like her either and I've never liked her.

There's something about her that tells me in my spirit, whatever you want to call it, that she is dragging her feet on purpose.

With her an ceyed patel they've stopped all of our hopes.

Who needs the left when the right screws with us just as much.

They all need to go and I'm sorry Ms Barbie, you have to go for sure now.

I got off her ass to see if she'd get it together and she has. She's got it together for the other side.

She's the one that was all tied up in Epstein too. I remember Ms Thang.

Her job was to protect the status quo. Soon Trump’s Term of Office will have expired. And nothing will have been done referencing corrupt and lying Politicians. The same old people will still be running the Law Enforcement Agencies that were there during the obama and Biden Administrations. Granted, Trump had his people as Heads of these Organizations, but the changes should have been from the bottom to the top or the top to the bottom. But that didn’t happen, so nothing changed. There are still riddled with corruption from top to bottom.

After all is said and done, more is said than is done.
