I think that Trump was setting the stage to demolish some Democrats. Now that he has been drug kicking and screaming to this they can’t say he was playing politics

Could not figure out why the Dems want these released. Every document and piece of testimony clear Trump. As a matter of fact, it exposes the Dems and their allies.

Then it hit me. Releasing these files would expose the victims. And that is what the Dems want. They want to know the who so they can pressure the victims, or bribe them, to name Trump. After all, a released e-mail shows a reporter pressuring Epstein to do it.

Once they have their victim, Gloria Steinham can show up and the usual will ensue.

You are a troll.

The victims could have named names anytime they wanted but never did so. Begs the question of why?

So many people on here are going to be disappointed.

On one hand you have RandFan who is saying “see, I told you so.” He thinks that Trump ended up being convinced or outmaneuvered into doing the right thing.

On the other hand you have the folks saying “It was all 4D chess. Wow Trump is smart!”. They think Trump’s resistance to releasing the files was a ruse to manipulate the Dems.

In reality, all of the important stuff will be redacted or withheld for “national security” reasons. It is neither Republicans or Democrats who fear what is in the the files. The real barrier is the intelligence agency that controlled Epstein and still controls both political parties. They wanted to stop the knowledge of their stranglehold over our nation from coming to light. They don’t lose. They won’t this time either.

Trump spent his entire 2nd term trying to prevent this from happening - breaking a major campaign promise and thwarting the will of the American people. He even lied through his teeth and told us these “files” didn’t exist. Our congress is voting on imaginary documents. The JFK and 911 files must not exist either. Blondi had pretend files on her desk.

Now Trump petulently goes after our own, like Massie, Greene and Paul who dared like all of us, to want the PROMISED sunshine. Oddly these are the same few who don’t have their lips sewn to Israel’s ass. Funny how that works.

I remember when *every single* FReeper, without exception, wanted the Epstein docs exposed. Now the hypocrites and phonies come out of the woodwork and pretend they’re not hypocrites and phonies.

Watch.

I really don’t know what to think about the Epstein files. Unfortunately, they’ve taken on such a mythological character that they will be bound to disappoint when they are released. Or there will be conspiracy theories that they really weren’t all released. I’d like everything to be released so we can put this behind us. But I doubt that will happen. And part of the reason is the utter corruption of the DOJ and FBI over the past 15 years. No one trusts them anymore, even when they are managed by Republicans. So there will always be doubt.

Trump campaigned on getting the files opened. He had to play the Dems big time....but he got it done.

Like Trump, I see no reason to revisit the woke epidemic where innocent people are pilloried for merely associating with Epstein .

But we must understand ? Mao Tse Tung said all power comes from the barrel of a gun.

Well now we must confess that all power comes from the barrel of a vagina?

Trump gave in to them because of the mid term election next November.

I mean who wants to offend a bunch of vengeful Congress Critter women who want to claim victory over anyone who had previously been seen with Epstein?

Epstein is now successfully attacking our Republic and its Union from the grave. Trump was right to oppose it.

It ain't over yet...

How Trump could still keep Epstein files secret, despite House and Senate votes

The president ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to open an investigation into Epstein's connections to three prominent Democrats: former president Bill Clinton, former treasury secretary Larry Summers and the billionaire founder of LinkedIn, Reid Hoffman.

The text of the the Epstein Files Transparency Act passed Tuesday by Congress allows the DOJ to withhold or redact any records that "would jeopardize an active federal investigation or ongoing prosecution."

Republican Thomas Massie, who co-sponsored the bill in the House, said he's concerned about Trump's move to open what he called "a flurry of investigations" after months of the White House downplaying the Epstein case.

"I believe they may be trying to use those investigations as a predicate for not releasing the files. That’s my concern,” Massie told reporters outside the Capitol on Monday evening...

I don’t think Trump was opposing this. Boebert is on video saying there was no pressure from Trump to vote no at the WH meeting. That’s contrary to the “Trump opposing” narrative.

What will all the Epstein files people do in a few days when they realize there’s nothing there and they’re crazed loons?

I imagine have no self awareness and look for the next thing to obsess about.
