Helloooooo - The USA already is in a civil war, and already is insolvent.
Freerepublic ^ | November 17, 2025 | AAABEST

Posted on 11/17/2025 7:01:05 AM PST by AAABEST

There was a thread earlier entitled "Too Many Americans Want a Civil War." Referring to the Kirk assassination, the author warned "how close the country had come to a 'potential' civil war."

I've got news for him, and everyone else. Technically speaking, we're not "potentially" in Civil War II, it's already begun.

Anyone involved with or familiar with various factions of the intel community, which geek-out on societal analysis, will tell you it's here. The 3 phases of civil war are, technically, classified as follows:

1. Routine Peaceful Competition
Remember, not too long ago, when we could argue vociferously, especially around election time, regarding topics of the day then go back to normal relations? Nobody got fired or cancelled, we didn't shun friends and family. Your race, political persuasion, or who you voted for wasn't an issue. Those days are gone, and won't be back for the foreseeable future.

Low Intensity Conflict, or Grey War (YOU ARE HERE.)
Hardened factions begin paring off, differences become irreconcilable. Political, informational and economic warfare ramps up. Civil unrest breaks out often, and large, even dangerous, demonstrations become commonplace. Violence, assassinations and calls for such intensify.

3. Conventional Warfare
This is when the killing begins and we start seeing bodies. We're not there yet, but possible or likely will be if things keep going sideways. This phase - all out civil war - Can possibly be avoided, but not always providentially. Rome during the fall of the republic or pre WW II Germany come to mind.

Regarding bankruptcy/insolvency, we're already there as well. Merriam Webster defines "insolvent" as follows:

Insolvent (YOU ARE HERE.)
1 a: unable to pay debts as they fall due in the usual course of business. b: having liabilities in excess of a reasonable market value of assets held.
2: insufficient to pay all debts.

The national debt - which hardly anyone can even fathom - is far beyond our ability to repay. Even our children and grandchildren - the real victims of our intergenerational theft - could never repay it. The interest alone has, sadly, recently become our primary budget item - higher than our massive military budget. Let that sink in. It will only get exponentially worse.

Debt and currency devaluation is at the root of nearly all our problems and is the main catalyst for Civil War II. Along with the move away from investing in dollars, it's the main cause of inflation. It's pushing the broke and unemployed to radicalism, violence and street demonstrations. It's breaking healthcare, retirement and government services. Things like groceries, private services, goods, housing and autos are becoming unaffordable, especially for middle class, the poor and the elderly. It's becoming increasingly difficult to get a doctor, replacement parts, loans and many of the things Americans have always taken for granted.

Along with our civil war, America's bankruptcy is here, it just that neither has been officially declared yet. How either will look once the music stops nobody can know - but it will be very bad times for us all. The best course of action at this point is to prepare as much as possible.

One of the topics this is listed under is "gardening," a skill you'll likely need.

We are not unable to pay our debt.
So that line in the rant is false.

It’s not me defining a “low intensity conflict/grey war” phase, it’s orgs like the CIA and State Department. Read past the headline.

The definition is technical and available to all, but you like to just skim headlines and blurt out opinions.

And “controlled information.” lol. Yeah, I’m sitting here with my two dogs. They have a great deal of control over me.

You should watch the new series on the American Revolution - it was all about ‘Resistance’. The colonist were resisting Parliament and the King at every turn. It’s an analog of what’s going on today. I wonder if Shelby wrote it as a roadmap for the Democrats …

Well Trump stated to a reporter who asked him when he was running for his 2nd term and it got stolen from him that the next President (Not expecting not win) will govern over a huge economic crash and many would be left without a chair when the music stopped playing and glad he would be out. I am seeing to many signs 2026 will be a disaster economically around the globe. Adding to the mix Americans are willing to accept Socialism and a sour economy 2026 is going to be hairy as even the CIA Black Book of Predictions backs that up talking about massive Economic, Political and Social changes coming all the way into 2030.

But somehow you think America is already in civil war? Where at?

lol

Take, just a minute or two, and have the courtesy of reading the fkn article. It's not very lengthy and your question is answered there. It'll save wasting each others time.

None of it is my opinion or musings. It's textnook - how our own intel gurus analyze stages of internal societal conflict.

Public information if doubt any of it.

“Insolvent means not being able to cover your liabilities.

“That is not nearly the case.”

The federal debt is ~$110,000/American resident.

The federal debt is ~$240,000/American worker.

The federal debt is ~$300,000/American citizen worker.

The federal debt is ~$400,000/American citizen full-time worker.

The ability to sell debt to foreigners will end soon.

You are right I made a mistake we can just print our way out of debt or we can just go digital with the Federal control how you spend your money and just make all that debt disappear...

Joe Rogan and Glenn Beck on the nine steps to civil war

My summary:

The nine steps to civil war

1. The first step is the loss of civic trust. When people lose trust in the fairness of the system.

2. Step two is a polarization hardens into identity. Everyone is constantly reminded as to who they are on the political divide, with no break in the action that goes beyond politics.

3. Step three is a breakdown of the gatekeepers. Previously, the media, churches, civic leaders, and political parties served as gatekeepers in political discourse, shaping public conversation into a healthy debate. Now, however, these institutions have failed in that role and have joined in the polarization.

4. Step four is parallel information realities. There are multiple sources of news and information, and they can present wildly disparate versions of the news and political commentary to the point that these can be completely different realities. These realities align with the polarization of identities.

5. Step five is the loss of a neutral rule of law. This is the pivot point. The abject corruption in the rule of law and lawfare as a political weapon. The most egregious examples were the Lois Lerner IRS attack on the Tea Party applications, relentless persecution of January 6, 2021, defendants and the soft treatment of the leftists who burned, looted, and murdered during their 2020 ‘summer of love.’

6. Step six is a normalization of political violence. The ANTIFA violence that killed several people and caused billions in damage in US cities was sold as a “Mostly Peaceful Protest.”

7. Step seven is the rise of militias and parallel forces. That is happening right now in the divisions between ICE immigration enforcement and the state and local police forces.

8. Step eight, there’s the trigger event. Something like the assassination of the president as there have already been several attempts.

9. Step nine comes when police, military, or federal agencies split and begin battling each other.

Stage 6 as others have pointed out.

We are not able to pay the debt, we can service the debt by paying the interest but cannot pay the principle. That is like saying you can pay your personal debts, but you are only paying interest on the house, the cars, then college and groceries. So it climbs ever higher. That lasts only so long as people respect your method of payment.

Instead of a 30 year mortgage on the home, but infinity of years mortgage on the home. When you die, your kids take up the payment, then grandkids, then great grand kids, then the great great grandkids. Nobody in the family ever owns the home outright. The Federal Reserve OWNS IT ALL.

In short, you can never own it at that rate, THAT is insolvency.

The current debt to GDP ratio of the US is 118.78% as of the second quarter of this year
AI: A debt-to-GDP ratio exceeding 77% for prolonged periods can indicate significant economic challenges, and ratios above 100% may suggest a higher risk of default, potentially signaling that a country is financially unstable.
I suppose it depends on the meaning of the word “broke”.
Our war for independence was largely triggered by England treating us as suppliers of only raw materials and 2nd rate subjects.
Our first civil war was caused by tariffs on the agricultural south by the industrialized north.
A third civil war will spark when we reach an economic tipping point caused by unmanageable debt. “ A hungry stomach knows no politics. “

Will there be a civil war in America any time soon?
Nope.
Assassinations etc have been in America for a long time, but they have never caused civil wars.
Even Lincoln was killed AFTER the civil war.
Theodore become president after McKinley was killed, with very little civil disturbance.

This country will never balance the budget. The democrats and RINOS need to keep those snap program going and don’t forget social security. As the boomers retire early and live longer, we as a country are screwed.
