Voters who are 65 or older are especially passionate about health care – nearly all say access to quality, affordable health care is important to their vote (97%). Nine in 10 voters ages 50 to 64 say the same (90%). Eighty-three percent of voters 50 to 64 and 92% of likely voters 65 and older say a candidate’s stance on improving the response plan for natural disasters is important to their vote.
The state’s youngest and oldest voters consider a candidate’s position on housing affordability more important to their vote than those in between. Ninety-two percent of voters ages 18 to 34 and 92% of those 65 and older say this is “very” or “somewhat” important to their vote.
“Affordability concerns take center stage in this election,” said Ashley Koning, an assistant research professor and director of the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. “Voters across the board have continually expressed how important this issue is to them and maintain they would be more likely to vote for a candidate who will address affordability and cost of living in different aspects of life in New Jersey.”
About 8 in 10 say they are more likely to vote for a candidate who supports policies that help family caregivers provide care to their older family members and loved ones (42% “much,” 39% “somewhat”); supports funding Stay New Jersey, a property tax relief program for older homeowners (53% “much,” 27% “somewhat”); and protects funding for Medicaid to ensure long-term care services are available for low-income seniors and people with disabilities…
Seventy-three percent are more likely to vote for a candidate who supports affordable housing options (50% “much,” 23% “somewhat”).

Precisely.
Because Democrats voted for Democrats in Democrat states and a Democrat City?
Oddly, the people who voted for the party that raised the cost of living and created the affordability gap are now voting for the same party to fix it.
We'll see how well that goes.

That’s how braindead they are.

Democrats are not going to provide affordable health care, housing affordability, etc.
They claim to able to fix the problems that THEY created.
Uh-huh.
important to understand the demographics and the likely outcomes — there were no surprises, and that includes the typically dysfunctional GOP machinery
not saying you, but for those interested in demoralizing data, take a look into the habitually flaccid turnout of R voters. The psychotic Rats don’t have this problem as they are inherently compelled to physical action.
Because Democrats voted for Democrats in Democrat states and a Democrat City?....
Finally, the voice of reason. Worth repeating for those who think the world is going to end.
We were definitely not going to win NYC or Virginia. I didnt follow New Jersey close enough.
They won the battle....not the war!
Its Deep Blue Dem Leftist Voters in Deep blue NJ .
This isnt news .
They are life long blood suckers .
Yesterday a Gop pollster article stated
we were not going to win anything .
He was blunt , NJ is deep blue , VA is trending deep blue ,
CA is voter fraud Blue ,
Any poll showing it was close
were DEM polls setting up a psych ops for the leftist media to spin in .
Here we are .
Healthcare is not a right. No one should ever be given healthcare for free because the ones that do pay, pay more for those who get it subsidized by those who do pay.
Put down the bong.
FOAD
Obviously they were lying. Free stuff is all their vote means to them. Socialist pigs.
Why do they want bad health care?
No assholes like you either
Any poll showing it was close
were DEM polls setting up a psych ops for the leftist media to spin in .
Here we are ......
Exactly. We are fighting the dems and the media.
Yes .
They are a cdangerous team we must fight too .
It was psych ops set up .
The Dem media knew it would be a bad Gop election cycle
but pushed these ridicules polls .
I can see why people are left down .
Trump had a bad midterm in 2018
so he better avoid picking candidates like he did in 2018
and let locals decide .
Blue states staying blue is no big surprise. As conservatives leave those states other states will become redder and control more of the US Congress.
