Space exploration has entered a new era where microbial discoveries challenge our understanding of life beyond Earth. The Chinese Tiangong station recently became the site of an extraordinary finding that reads like science fiction but represents very real scientific advancement. This discovery raises fundamental questions about biological adaptation in extreme environments.
Niallia tiangongensis emerges from space station samples During routine operations in May 2023, the Shenzhou-15 crew collected samples from Tiangong’s habitation module that would later reveal something unprecedented. Scientists identified a completely new bacterial species, subsequently named Niallia tiangongensis after its birthplace among the stars. This microorganism represents the first known bacterium to develop specifically within a Chinese space facility.
The China Space Station Habitation Area Microbiome Program (CHAMP) conducted extensive analysis revealing that Tiangong’s microbial environment differs significantly from the International Space Station’s ecosystem. Researchers documented a predominance of human-associated microbes alongside remarkable genetic diversity, suggesting rapid evolutionary adaptations to space conditions including microgravity, elevated radiation exposure, and confined living spaces.
This newly discovered bacterium shares genetic similarities with Niallia circulans, a terrestrial soil bacterium known for its exceptional resilience. However, the space-adapted variant demonstrates unique characteristics that set it apart from its earthbound relatives. The discovery parallels other groundbreaking findings, such as when archaeologists make incredible discoveries after opening rooms sealed for centuries, revealing how isolation creates unique conditions for development.

First thing that came to mind when I read this. I can see them playing with it to see what they can do with it.
This from the people who invented Covid... Color me suspicious.
“There is a fire.”
We put astwonauts in quawantine when they come back to eawf, but gehms get out. Oh, weww. So sowwy. evewybody die now. caww Fauci.
Bring back Fauci!
He can fix it!
safe AND effective
What’s scary and potentially very dangerous about this type of thing is when it’s combined with things like Quantum computing and AI.
If you can create new and previously unknown bacteria, what other things can you create thru the manipulation of the DNA of bacteria.
It’s only a matter of time before you can create things that are far more dangerous than nuclear weapons.
Is it farfetched to think you could manipulate human DNA or create a bacteria that targets the DNA of a specific group of people.
That’s why I think Covid was a trail run to see who was infected, how the bacteria spread, and how serious was the infection, etc.
Oh swell. A real life Andromeda Strain scenario in the making. Why am I not surprised.
If this is spread deliberately, all trade with China should be ended.
Liberals will survive, because they always hyperventillate.
“”Liberals will survive, because they always hyperventillate.””
And because they ARE the bacteria of planet earth. The kind that destroys and kills. Liberals have ‘evolved’ into hard-core leftists.

Apparently not. Boston Organics want you to think so, rather like their other titles linked on that page --
"NASA confirms that China’s Three Gorges Dam could lengthen each day as it causes irreversible changes to Earth," "There are three simple rules when charging your phone, they save both time and money," and a favorite, "How long is pizza good for in the fridge?"Instead of a two-bit blog, here are quotes from some real sources:
" The researchers published their findings March 3 in the journal International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology." < s n i p >"After being sent back to Earth, analysis revealed that the bacteria was closely related to Niallia circulans, a rod-shaped, spore-propagating bacteria that typically dwells in soil, sewage and food, and can cause sepsis in immunocompromised patients." < s n i p >
"This isn't the first microbe to have made the evolutionary leap to survive beyond our planet, either. In 2018, NASA scientists discovered four previously unknown strains of antibiotic-resistant bacteria hiding inside the International Space Station's toilets, each with a suite of new adaptations to help them survive in outer space."

"Understanding the characteristics of microbes during long-term space missions is essential for safeguarding the health of astronauts and maintaining the functionality of spacecraft. In this study, a Gram-positive, aerobic, spore-forming, rod-shaped strain JL1B1071T was isolated from the surface of hardware on the China Space Station. This strain belongs to the genus Niallia, with its closest relative being Niallia circulans ATCC 4513T."

I have no argument with any of that. I’ve had the same thoughts for a long time - - well before Wuflu was unleashed.
Iirc, they busted a Chinese gal last year for having a bacteria that was damaging to crops. Since this bacteria was found in ‘23 and is similar to a known soil bacteria, can’t help but wonder if what that Chinese gal had was developed from it. They’d love to hit our food supply with something we can’t kill easily. I trust them not one bit.

I guess the morel of the story, as often toad, is:
“Watch out for the Fun Guy!” 🍄🍄🍄
Sorry to leapfrog 🐸🐸🐸 ahead
I believe that the two most important items from this article and thread are:

The “unknown bacteria” is the precursor to...............

Maybe Elon can Space-X Fauci to the Chinese satellite to work out the cure. “Please wait outside, Mr. Science. We need to keep that 6-foot distance.”
China should be ended......
It was created in the almond chicken.
