Love him or hate him, that adage did bear true when ABC semi-funnyman Jimmy Kimmel was yanked off airwaves for lying about the Charlie Kirk assassin in mid-September.
Kimmel came back from his five-day suspension to an undeniably massive audience: 6.48 million viewers, according to Mediaite.
But if absence makes the heart grow fonder, does presence make the heart grow weary?
Love him or hate him, that appears to be true about Kimmel, as well.
Despite that monstrous viewership for his return, few of them appeared to have stuck around, if one looks at the Nielsen ratings data analyzed by Mediaite.
After 6.48 million viewers for his return show on Sept. 23, Kimmel has struggled to maintain any sort of momentum.

With the record of his ratings collapsing again for the second time ABC will have the reason to cancel his show.
Then Kimmel will not have any basis to sue them.
I suspect the ABC lawyers told the Execs that this would be better for them long term. Put him back on TV and let him fail again. Then cancel the show. At worst pay him to GO AWAY. It will be cheaper than having to pay out his contract.
I never ever thought of him as a comedian....just an anti-Trump mouth piece.

Can he be canceled because he sucks or is that still an attack on the First Amendment? Hard to keep up.
Don’t fire him or cancel his show. Cut his budget so HE has to fire 90% of his staff and move his show to 3:00 am. Make him quit and maybe get hired elsewhere so ABC doesn’t have to take the blame from his big mouthed woke supporters like the last time.

Obviously, that first initial audience were about the same as people slowing down traffic rubber-necking an accident on the highway. A very human response, but driving on down the highway at normal speed after passing it.

People watched the first show back eager to see him double down on his antiTrump antiMAGA tirades. Guess he didn’t live up to the haters’ expectations. They must be a fickle lot..

Kimmel was a lame sidekick during his Man Show days. He then started that crap with the feminist at the network, divorced his wife, then married that execrable feminist.
He is now a cowering cuck who does the bidding of the thing he calls his second wife so he can “get some” every now and then when she decides he’s earned it.
