Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), Congressional Hispanic Caucus or Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus — and many said they voted “no” because they didn’t want to extol Kirk’s most controversial political views, which frequently targeted minority communities.

“If this resolution were to simply condemn Charlie Kirk’s murder, it would have had my vote. Unfortunately, it was an attempt to use this tragedy as an opportunity to lionize his beliefs,” said Rep. Sanford Bishop (D-Ga.), a veteran member of the CBC.

They didn’t have any problems lionizing George Floyd. Coincidentally both Floyd and Kirk have the same birthday, Oct. 7.

Then dems are going to feel some head if they continue with their idiocy, and it will take out more than one of them likely.

Why would Patriots be so offended that they would use a grenade rather than a rifle?

So many curious questions !

Charlie Kirk’s birthday is on October 14.

The U.S. Senate just UNANIMOUSLY established October 14, 2025 as “National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk.”
-
That’s Charlie Kirk’s birthday.

Meanwhile, they held a huge ceremony for Sicknick, the person who was bludgeoned to death on Jan 6th, except that he wasn’t bludgeoned to death at all.

My belief is that they needed a martyr to seal the “insurrection” narrative, and they were perfectly happy to murder Sicknick to get one. Which is why his cause of death was both misreported (as a bludgeoning death, which it wasn’t) but also eerily reported before he died.

But in any case, he got a big ceremony and burial in the Rotunda.

“””They didn’t have any problems lionizing George Floyd.”””

They didn’t have a problem dragging him all over the country in the gold hearse. Or kneeling for him. PUKE!!!!!

"Kirk’s most controversial political views, which frequently targeted minority communities."

Which is a complete lie. What did he say or do that disparaged minorities? Specifically? They will never be able to say.

Unfortunately, it was an attempt to use this tragedy as an opportunity to lionize his beliefs,”

Yes, his beliefs that all people are created in the image of a loving God and are capable of accomplishing great things, not helpless wards of the state who need special privileges in order to succeed in life.

Perish the thought.

The most reprehensible group of frauds and hypocrites you will ever see. Sad that millions of people followed suit. What a nauseating time.

In typical GOP fashion, they missed an opportunity.

They HAD to include provisions that were very political. I cannot imagine a situation where Republican Congresscritters would have voted honoring a Democrat for their stands on Abortion and Gun Control.

Instead of trying to bring the country together, our Representatives act like friggin’ children. All so they can get on TV and get donations. A pox on all them.

The resolution didn’t require agreement with Kirk’s views; the supposedly “controversial “ clause only praised Kirk’s belief in a unity and commitment to the pursuit of free speech and civil debate.
This wasn’t a expression of unity with all of Kirk’s political and religious beliefs. (even though they were excellent)

The left cannot tolerate any speech that deviates from their evil and perverse ideologies.

Any statements that do not give preferential treatment and protected status to minority groups is “divisive”— as defined by democrats.

The Democrats despised Kirk’s espousing God’s Commandments and trying to live the example of Jesus. After all their mealy-mouthing that’s the primary reason.

They kicked God out of their Party years ago and have been paving a path to Hell ever since. How any conscious person can support them utterly mystifies me.
