A freak allergy attack led to a surreal near-death experience for nurse Julia Evans, and she passed into an otherworldly realm where she saw long-dead friends and relatives and, briefly, 'Jesus'
Simply breathing in the pollen from a bunch of flowers led to a dramatic near-death experience for a nurse. Canadian Julia Evans recalled how, as medics scrambled to save her life, she found herself in a serene state where she encountered relatives and friends who had died years before.
Speaking to podcaster Jeff Mara, she told how the amazing experience had begun. She had just arrived at the hospital where she worked on, when she started feeling “scratchy” in her throat.
She described how she started trying to work out what was wrong, recalling: "You go through very rapidly in your head; ‘Did I come in contact with something? Did I eat something funny? Do I have a cold?’
“You kind of scan your environment…and as I quickly scan I can start feeling my throat getting tighter and tighter. It felt like sandpaper as I was swallowing And so as I scanned my environment I looked straight ahead of me and at the nursing station there was this beautiful bouquet of lilies.”
Julia explained that she knew she had an allergy to lilies, but didn’t think it was particularly severe and would just avoid them whenever she saw any.
But for some reason, on that fateful morning in 2018, Julia decided to walk towards the flowers – triggering a massive and potentially-fatal allergic reaction. “At that point, I was already starting to turn blue,” shesaid.
Julia said that, if you’re going to go into anaphylactic shock, a hospital is probably the best place to be. Her colleagues rushed into action; one raced to get some medication, one telephoned Julia's husband,

I posted the quote. WTF is wrong with you. GET LOST. GET A LIFE YOU SILLY TWAT. Find someone else to badger!
Learn to read. You are an ass
Those things (out of body experiences) happen even without surgery and anesthesia. People who clinically died and were brought back by simple CPR methods without any chemicals, also often report similar experiences.
So were the documented medieval cases of out of body experiences.
Very true.
Another friend of mind was in charge of the CIA’s Operation Stargate at Stanford University. It was a successful remote viewing operation that was stopped by Clinton.
LOL... He was afraid they would remote view Epstein’s Island!/s
As I lay me down to sleep....
One’s early life has great context in this...
Below is a link to a research article by Bruce Greyson at UVA Charlottesville. It compares NDE’s to hypnosis induced NDE’s.
I’ve known Bruce Greyson for many years. He is a retired psychiatrist who ran the Department of Perceptual Studies at UVA Charlottesville for many years. The same department that Raymond Moody worked, and also Ian Stevenson.
Jim Tucker, a child psychiatrist heads it now. You might remember one of his cases from the news a few years ago re the young child from a Christian family that remembered in detail being a Corsair fighter pilot in WWII and his death in a crash at sea. Jim verified the facts this young child revealed including how he died, where he died, the ship he flew from, and his buddies name.
“A Comparison of Hypnotically-Induced Death Experiences
and Near-Death Experiences”
It is shown that the scores of the two scales in “death” experiences occurring under past-life regression therapy is consistently higher than those in spontaneously occurring near-death experiences reported in one study (Goza, et al. 2014), although the scores of the NDE Scale in the former are lower in three of the four subscales than those in spontaneously occurring near-death experiences reported in another study (Greyson, 1983). The results appear to warrant further investigation of hypnotically-induced “death” experiences by using the scales designed for near-death experiences.
Another gentleman with whom I spoke extensively is a retired from the VA Hospital in Chicago where he was a psychologist. He was using EMDR for PTSD treatment with veterans and found that if they did EMDR with their eyes closed, it induced a NDE. His name is Allan L Botkin and he wrote a book, “Induced After-Death Communication: A New Therapy for Healing Grief and Trauma.”
Another friend of mine who is very Jewish, shared with me privately that she met Jesus in her NDE. She wrote several books and was also on Opera telling about her experience.
She could not tell her family or friends as the were very Jewish and it would have destroyed her family.
After some search I found this painting by Hieronymus Bosch, painted around 1500 which apparently depict out of body experience as described by lot of people - Light tunnel with silhouette of person on the end of it.
Somebody with that experience apparently described it to author five hundred years ago!
There are more of such painting, but i cannot find them!

“But don’t use logic around here. It’s just not welcome.”
I’ve spent 30 years studying and doing neuroscience research to understand the NDE I experienced. I can explain it in relation to brain wave frequencies and consciousness. Our perception of reality is a function of the frequency of consciousness from which we view it.
I demonstrate this with people by reading the stored memories of their life experiences in their soul, many feet from their physical body.
Miracles are merely science that we currently do not understand. I’m not discounting the miracles. Just saying that they too are scientific.
Near-death experience is known to many cultures and religions.115 In the West, the first reference to NDE is Plato’s story about a soldier by the name of Er, which the philosopher contained in The Republic (X, 614B–621D)
Bible contain likely reference to NDE
2 Corinthians 12:2-4
I love cats too. I always have cats but the cartoon fit that so well I thought it funny.
Or a marketing pitch for her tarot card reading business, or something.

The article says she is nurse by profession.
Yes!!! Most definitely, and more than just that one time ‼️
THANK YOU, GOD 🙏❗️
“I call BS, perhaps well meaning.”
Be very careful dismissing these stories.
John Burke has some good videos out there on the topic.
Had I not experienced an NDE myself, I never would have believed it. Also, the profound Love and Bliss experienced is beyond any words of description.
“Also, the profound Love and Bliss experienced is beyond any words of description.”
Amazing.
Would love to hear more
No, but I did get a Toyota Matrix
So she didn’t have to take a number?
