Homosexuality is a sickness. It is a mental illness. It comes from early childhood sexual or emotional trauma. It was understood thusly by the psychiatrists before their professional associations were taken over by outside pressure and internal subversion. A man kissing another man is not normal. A man wanting to be treated like a woman is not normal. Putting certain body parts into the biological sewer is not normal. Having to wear adult diapers because of certain nasty sexual proclivities is not normal. Having hundreds of “sex” partners is not normal.

I started to watch the series, “Ballard” on Netflix. One of the protagonists (a retired homicide investigator) is a male homosexual. The lead female rails about frat boys forcing girls to have non-consensual sex. Most of the white men in the show are racist homophobes. The show pushes the gay agenda at every turn. It’s just horrible. Spare yourselves and don’t watch it.

Sadly, that's most of the excreta that flows from Hollyweird these days. My favorites are the ones that have very engaging episodes 1-5, then once the audience is hooked, they spring a homo plotline on them completely out of thin air. As soon as that happens, I turn the show off. I can't stand being manipulated by something that's supposed to be entertaining.

Fortunately there is a very deep bench between the 20s and the 2010s of decent films, series, and plays and music that can be mined. Same for books. I am just finishing up John Goulds columns, a series of essays in book form that bring laughter and joy.

States used to consider sodomy a crime. There came a big push in the mid to late 70s to get rid of those laws, highlighting things like big police raids on gay bars in NYC with chants of “keep the state out of our bedroom!”

But sodomy being illegal pretty much precluded the legalization of gay marriage, which is why those laws needed to be stricken first by the left.
