SILVER SPRING, MD — A new study commissioned by the National Weather Service may have found a possible connection between the current heatwave and a giant flaming orb in the sky.

The mystery of what causes heatwaves has perplexed climate scientists around the world for decades. Researchers working with NASA and top American universities have recently decided to stop using complex climate models, step away from their desks, and look outside at the giant flaming orb in the sky as a possible explanation as to why things get hot in the summertime.

"That big flaming orb in the sky is really, really hot," said head climate scientist Dr. Ben Vanderwaal. "Has that always been there?"

"It is now our belief that there might be some connection between that big flaming orb and why it's so hot outside."

Scientists say that the big flaming orb sends out electromagnetic radiation, which includes blinding light, infrared radiation, and X-rays, which can travel through the vacuum of space and heat up our tiny little planet. It's that electromagnetic radiation that climate scientists now expect may cause heatwaves.

At publishing time, climate scientists around the world were busy researching how to tax the sun to prevent catastrophic climate change.

Nah, The Science says it is entirely correlated with CO2 emissions. Crank hypotheses about astronomical bodies influencing our lives belong in the realm of astrology, not science!

They’re also recently discovering that it has something to do with the earth’s tilt. Specifically, when the northern hemisphere faces that big firey ball in the sky, it makes things that part of the earth get hot.

Well I’m from Oregon, so we don’t see it much. But I went outside a few days ago and saw this thing in the sky that was on fire. I hope no one got hurt. Anyway it hurt my eyes so I went back inside. But I read later that that is the thing that may be causing global warming.

Correlation is not causation. It’s hot days on Earth that make the sun so shiny. And moving trees make the wind blow.

This is fake news, climate scientist consensus is clear: that orb is just light, no heat. Don’t question the science.

We had better figure out what the role of the sun is to our climate. The sooner the better before it goes out, because when that happens all the sundials will stop working.

Let’s be accurate, even the strictest climate science theory attributes 99% of warming to the Sun, if one believes that human activity has warmed the temperature 3 C, the temperatures in a hot spell on earth are over 300 K (300 above absolute zero in Celsius, -273) so without saying so they believe that 99% of the heat is from the Sun and 1% is from human activity. Nobody in actual fact believes that all of the heat of our atmosphere is caused by human activity.

The National Weather Service, serving up manipulated weather and excuses per usual.

Don’t question the Bible either. According to Genesis, chapter 1, God put the sun in the sky to provide light. It doesn’t say anything about heat. That must be later and because of human activity.
