MARION COUNTY, Fla. —
A 15-year-old boy has been sentenced for his role in three Marion County murders that took place in early 2023 when he was just 12 years old.
Christopher Atkins was sentenced to 40 years in prison for the murder of Camille Quarles in 2023. Quarles was one of three victims in a string of murders, the other two victims being Layla Silvernail and Michael Hodo Jr.
Atkins was charged in the murders alongside Robert Robinson and Tahj Brewton, who were 17 and 16 years old at the time of the killings. Robinson and Brewton entered no contest pleas in early June and are expected to be sentenced on July 23.
Atkins was charged with one count of first-degree murder as well as one count each of armed robbery and tampering with evidence. His 40-year sentence for the murder is eligible for review after 25 years.
Robinson and Brewton were sentenced to life in prison. All three defendants were charged as adults.
The victims were found in areas around Ocklawaha in late March 2023, two being found on the side of the road and a third in the trunk of a car. All three suffered gunshot wounds and knew each other.

It’s them...................
It’s always them, Boo Boo.
Yogi always knows.
Good to get them off the street and prevent them from breeding.
He could still breed, he’ll only be 40 when they unleash him.
People used to say that violent cartoons made children violent. As a kid I watched all the sixties cartoons and never felt the urge to enact any of the violence. Then, one day the cartoons ended, and my neighbor’s passel of kids came running outside and they were hyper and enacting similar violent and harmful things that they had just seen.
Even as a child I realized they were extremely stupid kids. Maybe lack of intelligence, forethought and insight, along with constant violent media enables children to do stupid things to others. Even in movies, you see the same actors die and then they’re just fine in the next movie. I had a cop describe the scene where a black child was pointing a gun at him and he eventually talked it away from him. He said when he tried to explain he might have killed the kid the kid said, “Yeah, but then I’d do...” The conversation repeated several times, and the black kid had no concept of what death meant.
I grew up in Ocklawaha [Oklawaha] - it’s about 25 miles east of Ocala, way out in the sticks.
...During the hearing, Judge Robert Hodges asked one of the state’s witnesses if Robinson ever said why they did this in the first place.
“The why was because of wanting a firearm that Mr. Hodo had,” said an investigator with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office....
You are referring to the Looney Tunes and Merrie Meledies cartoons. Yea I remember people saying this but kids knew better because we were not complete retards.
I had never heard the term trap house till I saw it brought up on a TV show on A&E dealing with murder cases. Seems it is a term used in the “yogi” identified community.
ANOTHER TARANTULA HEAD
Then they better arrange for an “accident” to prevent that.
A new bitch in a cell block are always welcomed.
Aren’t they all?
