When you get right down to it, the situation in Iran is America’s fault courtesy Jimmy Carter. Should American soldiers be fighting there? HELL NO! But we should be supporting the Iranian people in returning their freedom.
The real question is how many millions in Iran will want the Islamic Republic once it no longer has any power or authority over them, Khameni is dead and the army impotent?

I think Tucker is making the point that most in Congress know very little about Iran and how difficult it might be to bring them to heel. This thing with Iran started out with “we can’t let them have nukes” only to morph into “we need regime change in Iran”. The neocons are slow walking us into another war.

Hence, the main reason why Trump did not approve that the Supreme Leader of one of the largest religious groups in the world be blown up by the IDF.
We now have the opportunity to POTENTIALLY change the leadership of Iran. The Supreme Leader has to go on Iranian TV and surrender. Then let in weapons inspectors to all sites.
Then bring in the former Shah Prince as an interim government. Write a constitution and elect a government. Either a Prime Minister or a President under the formation of a Republic.
Cruz should have asked Tucker how many are Shia, how many are Sunni, how many are Christian, how many are Jewish, how many are gay, how many are trans, and so forth. You know, important questions.
