he hits just keep coming for CNN. The far left network is facing being spun off by its corporate parent company Warner Bros./Discovery sometime in 2026.
They view the network as a ‘declining asset’ and are going to split it into two entities.
The people who are described as on-air ‘talent’ have destroyed what was once considered the foundation of cable news. Over the last decade they have shredded not only their own credibility, but the reputation of the network. They have totally earned what is coming.

Trump could buy it cheap.
Hahahahaha

“The people who are described as on-air ‘talent’ have destroyed what was once considered the foundation of cable news”
The “on air talent” got away with what Management allowed them to for the last 20 years. Screw them all.
It makes you wonder what dirt he had on others at CNN that they'd keep him around.
“on air talent” are not the boss.
Someone either brought in hard left talking heads to convey the network’s leftist slant because they are like minded, OR they didn’t properly vet them and permitted the “talent” to shape the narrative themselves, OR the “talent” were neither not political biased and the network producers and bosses gave them the left slanted content to “report”.
No matter which way it came down, there is no blaming the “on air talent” alone. They network either got what they wanted, or they didn’t stop what they should have.
Their last audience is Leftist Boomers. That group ain’t getting any bigger and has a limited life expectancy. They already flushed their credibility down the toilet with Gen X, Millenials and Gen Z all of whom don’t watch.
I prefer “increasing liability” to “declining asset.”
I prefer unprofitable pile of toxic slime.
When the Boomers are gone, it will be a relic of a time gone by

Hahahaha!
"Spin off" as in spinning down the toilet.

“Tears on the horizon” is a pretty weak metaphor. I prefer “the walls are closing in,” or “the noose is tightening.”
Their audience is the same people who still buy a daily paper in a libtard city. Both are on borrowed time.
It was better back in the days of Lynne Russell, Natalie Allen, Laurin Sidney, and others.

Very true. As far as network news went, it was the gold standard. But that was before Fox came along as well as other news outlets on the Internet. if people wanted news, they went to CNN. Nowadays, they have other choices.
And of course, CNN chose their ideological course that has led them to this point too.
CNN ceased being a legitimate news organization the minute they caved to Saddam.
The audience size is immaterial, the only thing keeping cnn alive is the revenues from cable that we pay because of the way they "bundle" their offerings.
CNN is dying because cable is dying and if viewers can select separate streaming plans, they don't select cnn.
