On my (semi) frequent trips between Boston and NYC when I'm driving home I always drive up I-684 to I-84 and then head east through Connecticut and into Massachusetts. In Waterbury,Connecticut...a dying city which had its heyday about 150 years ago...there's a huge mosque on a hill that's plainly viable from I-84. It's almost as if it was intentionally placed there just to annoy civilized people who might be driving by.

It turns my stomach every time I see it.

But I'm absolutely 100% certain that is a totally pure coincidence.

Yes - the 8-pointed star seems pretty woke and mid-eastern.

The actual flag does not have the stripes, but is dark blue on the left, and solid light blue on the right. The angled dividing line reminds me of the transgender flag, but I’m guessing that it is supposed to symbolize the shape of Minnesota (the dark blue part sort of looks like the state).

The star on a blue background section does resemble the Somali flag’s. What does the Green, White and light blue colors represent? Anyone?
