I didn’t mean to contribute to your headache, Jem!
I’m sorry....
(hug)
The only one that doesn’t work for me is the one that says President Trumps Unconditional Surrender.
It says this,
“The requested document does not exist on this server.”
So whos server is this? It belongs to Jim Robinson. I think he or his helpers remove anything that is derogatory to President Trump.
“Um, I think it comes in every night?!”
Did you see how many people it took to keep it off the ground when putting it up? I can’t imanagine them getting that many people every night to take it down.
My guess is it will stay up.
Now for my day.
My youngest daughter and son-in-law took me out for my once a month lunch with them. Chinese food. Yummy!!!
Then we came back to my house and my son-in-law cut some dead branches off a BIG Rose of Sharron bush I have. Then he fixed, HOPEFULLY, the waterfall of my pond where it was over spilling and lowering the water level to where my pump would burn out.
Son-in-law then clipped my toenails, because I can’t reach then anymore, and my daughter said she was to shakey to do it. I had a friend not to long ago trying to clip her own. She had her leg up on a chair, got leg cramp, fell back and broke her femur bone.
So ladies are you still able to clip your own toenails?
Now for the excitement. My daughter was out back and happened to see firetrucks go by on the street behind. Then she looked sideways and saw a big black smoke cloud coming from my street. We went running out the front door and there were at least 8 fire trucks. It turns out the neighbor a couple doors down had a shed that caught on fire. The wind was blowing really hard and it burned through their back fence and scrothed the back neighbors house some. Thank goodness the fire trucks responded real fast because as strong as the wind was blowing it could have been really bad.
Oh, I see!
Well, we must simply abide, I guess!
I’m glad you have them to help you!
Me B and I are childless, but we have a
lot of nieces and nephews who seem to love us
so that calms my fears a little!
That being said, Mr B and I can still do our own pedicures,
but it is a LOT easier since I lost my belly!
I also have and old, (but still working Norelco Lady Bug)
electric mani/pedicure attachments, and works and looks brand new!
I am so glad that fire never reached your home Spunky!
Are those folks aware of how fast a fire can start?
We are super vigilant about that up here.
It would soon turn catastrophic!
No, you didn’t. Lots going on here.
I probably told you that I wasn’t happy when I left the doc’s office. I was frustrated that they couldn’t see the problem.
Well, there IS a problem. My hemaglobin is down to 8 and my IgMs are in the 1500s. I will know more when the numbers are opened for me on the EAMC patient portal.
At any rate, I’m not going crazy. There is a follow up scheduled.
So you see, MB, you didn’t do it. I’ve done to myself with this weird and rare autoimmune disease.
Nope. I can, but I like to indulge in pedicures. They do a good job making the edges very smooth and they buff it until the nails shine as if there were polish on it.

Well, Whoopie-
Nobody EVER said the USA is perfect, because it is not.
But in my 70 year stint on the planet
it's pretty damned close!
So, Wh00pie, if you hate so much, I invite you to GTFO.
Oh, and while you're at it, may I invite to
kiss my ENTIRE ass?!
At 8 your hemoglobin is low but possibly still in the NO TRANSFUSION zone. I recall for the American Red Cross that was cut cut off point when I was going through my anemia (which they never found a cause for)
But that low number would account for your fatigue
It is frustrating!
Biotin is what I take for nails/hair etc
Noticeable difference
Hi Luv!!! Have you and the Amy’s group come to a conclusion?
Do you ever see any of the Avery people? I loved his work and got several pieces while I was in Houston. This was early 90s. All gone with all jewelry when my van was stolen 3 years ago
Any local jmpact with illegals/ICE?
Wow you did have a full and exciting day!
Medicare covers podiatrist visits and that includes nail trimming
As Jemian mention pedicures do it but for me just not in budget
I do my own but my the foot and leg massage is great

lol!! That is a lot of my problem but my arms are short also. :-(
As far as the fire, thank goodness the wind was blowing the other direction.
I don’t know what pedicures cost where your at but a basic here cost between $40-$45 and I don’t want to spend that much.
I clicked on this thread just because I knew he comments would be a hoot

Sounds like a productive and somewhat pleasant day!
I clip my own toenails, but I don’t do a great job. It’s one at a time kind of clipping, then I have to come up for air lol.
Went to grandson’s Grade 8 graduation tonight. He won numerous awards! Math award, provincial math award, music award, academic award, Memory work award, and Good Samaratin award! It was good to see. Came back home and had a drink on the deck with Natalie and Matt and Mike came back for a visit as well.
So, that’s two in high school now, one in grade 6, and one only 2 1/2 who is going to be home-schooled.
Looking forward to doing absolutely nothing tomorrow other than getting dressed and a bit of kitchen cleaning. We got a good rain tonight, which was very much needed.
“Medicare covers podiatrist visits and that includes nail trimming”
I don’t know where you got that information. Now if you have Medicare Advantage Plan (Which is private insurance, not goverment Medicare they might)
Here is the info.
“Medicare typically does not cover routine toenail trimming. However, it may be covered if it is deemed medically necessary due to a specific foot condition or injury. If you have a systemic condition like diabetes or a circulatory disorder, or if you have an infected or ingrown toenail, Medicare Part B may cover podiatry services, including toenail trimming.
Here’s a more detailed breakdown:
Routine foot care is generally not covered:
This includes standard toenail trimming, removal of corns and calluses, and general foot maintenance.
Medically necessary foot care is covered:
If a podiatrist or other healthcare professional determines that toenail trimming is needed to treat a specific foot problem or injury, Medicare may cover the service.
Examples of covered conditions:
Diabetes: Individuals with diabetes may experience nerve damage and poor circulation, making them more susceptible to foot problems and infections. Toenail trimming may be covered if deemed medically necessary by a podiatrist.
Circulatory problems: Similar to diabetes, poor circulation can lead to foot complications that require professional foot care.
Infected or ingrown toenails: These conditions can cause pain and require medical intervention, which may include toenail trimming or removal.
Medicare Part B:
If your toenail trimming is deemed medically necessary, Medicare Part B is likely to cover 80% of the cost, after you meet your deductible, according to Medigap.com.
Medicare Advantage (Part C):
Some Medicare Advantage plans may offer additional podiatry benefits beyond what is covered by Original Medicare.
Consult with your doctor:
If you have questions about whether your toenail care will be covered, it’s best to consult with your primary care physician or podiatrist.”
