The climate change hoax and Green New Deal Scam has created many unnecessary regulations ..... MTG

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸 @RepMTG

👇 The climate change hoax and Green New Deal Scam has created many unnecessary regulations that are having far reaching effects still to this day.

For example, currently there is a massive need for a new refrigerant forced on the HVAC industry because of climate hoax lies.

R-410A which has been an incredibly reliable and inexpensive refrigerant is being phased out and R-454B is the new refrigerant that everyone has to buy, but can barely find.

The shortage and supply of R-454B is driving the cost as high as $1,000 dollars for a 20 pound jug compared to an avg cost of $300 for a 25 pound jug of R-410A.

In other words, the Biden administration and climate hoaxers were able to pass regulations with the Green New Deal that will now drive the cost of your air conditioning and may lead to you getting bad news from the repair man that won’t be able to provide the refrigerant you need immediately in the high heat this summer.

Oh, and by the way, the new refrigerant, R-454B is flammable.

This is affecting not only commercial, but residential and construction as well.

I don’t know about you, but I’m from Georgia and I absolutely love my air conditioning and I hate the climate hoax and the Green New Deal.

We need to fix this.

It is a very subtle copy of communism. The constantly changing regulations to force commerce is upon us and has been for a while. AS an example, the refrigerants used in the AC business, like the one described above, are continually changing while the American consumer absorbs the incredible cost. What else has changed you might ask?

Government must be neutered by the citizens it serves or the citizens will continue to lose their liberty.

I’ve put off buying a replacement for an aging R-22 system for 2 years because the industry is not ready to handle this refrigerant changeover that is being forced on us by the EPA. It’s criminal what these morons are doing. They want us freezing / sweating in the dark.

It started subtle. Now it has become a full blown crescendo.

Be glad the media dominance is waning. That may be helping to wake the young.

And yet, there are still hoax deniers...

The effing crazies have totally screwed homeowners HVAC systems and the HVAC industry. The new refrigerant that came out in January is flammable and an extremely short supply….. You should knock on wood that your AC doesn’t break else might be screwed.

This is at least the fourth patented refrigerant DuPont has foisted upon the public with unnecessary regulations. Each time the patent runs out, we magically "need" a new one.

Trump should bring back Freon. That "ozone hole" over the bottom of the planet was made by a volcano in Antarctica.

Thank you for referencing that article Racketeer. Please note that the following critique is directed at MTG and not at you.

"The climate change hoax and Green New Deal Scam has created many unnecessary regulations ..... MTG "

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Why isn't misguided MTG pointing out that the states have never expressly constitutionally given the unconstitutionally big federal government the specific power to police the environment, unnecessary regulations therefore unconstitutional imo?

"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.

NYS is the worst. Too bad the heavily Dem legislature ignores their constituents.

I’m livid over this issue. I’ve a perfectly functional older system using R-22.
Just slightly low on refrigerate. No one has R-22 available to recharge. Trying to force a complete system replacement.

To me it’s no different than older cars not being required to update to current emission standards. Older AC systems should be “ grandfathered” until actual functionality replacement is required.

Thank you very much for your response. The fed generally cuts fed funding when states do not behave. It is time to end the fed as a pimp for the states.

THIS! Bears repeating!

And each new version is worse.

"... a volcano in Antarctica"

Volcano in Tonga, not Antarctica. Went off in 2022 or 2023 and expanded the ozone hole over the S Pole.

That was later. From an AI search:

Freon, a brand name for refrigerants used in air conditioners, was officially banned in the United States on January 1, 2020. The ban was phased in over time, starting with restrictions in 1987 under the Montreal Protocol and more stringent measures in 1992 by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The volcano in question was on the (appropriately named) "Deception Island," starting in 1967 and again in 1969.
