Kyiv endured a night of hell as Vladimir Putin unleashed new terror on the Ukrainian capital.
Apocalyptic scenes unfolded during more than seven hours of bombardment which saw missiles and drones hit until 5.10am today.
Explosions and fires broke out across the capital city - as a senior Moscow military figure and hardline politician insisted Putin's aim is to unite Russia, Ukraine and Belarus into a single state.

May the Best Dictator Win.
Both are corrupt countries led by Dictators.
Always trust the Brit tabloids for your un-named sources of information. Sounds like more Uke/MI6 propoganda form the ususal sources.
It’s amusing to see that you’re in absolute agony over the extermination of your Azov guys.
““Massive” attack wounds ten. Either not massive at all or successfully avoided collateral damage. Either way, not consistent with Brit rag scare headlines.”
The Russians would hit at daytime when the sites are manned if they wanted to maximize deaths...they’re just trying to take out the Ukrainians use to terrorize Russian civilians. Often people confuse the two countries when it comes to terrorism.
“Best to always keep in mind that the Brits and France both have nuclear weapons, and only the non-proliferation treaty prevents them from shipping some to Ukraine for Ukraine to use as desired.”
Not that it will matter in another 10 or so years when the ‘transition’ takes place, but I suspect that the UK and France also want to still be on the map then.
Just make it up, Will.
Yeah, I guess the Ukrainian military and their NATO advisors are just a bunch of lackwits, who haven't stumbled across that simple solution yet...

Zelensky knows what he has to do…. Does have the humility to do it?
FTA: “The onslaught was seen as revenge for more than 1,000 Ukrainian drones fired at Russia in recent days, which wrought havoc with airports in Moscow and other cities.”
What did they expect would happen?
More is likely coming.
It sounds like you are advocating a nuclear war.
“That’s the problem I have with propaganda. Comments will be made that may or may not be true, that may be taken out of context, or just simply made up.”
Funny how the Western Media doesn’t bother to highlight people like Lindsey Graham saying something to the effect that “the best money ever spent as it is resulting in Russians being killed”.
You have nutcases on both sides. Putin is who counts, but even so - if the Russian part of what was Ukraine, and Belarus want to join up with Russia, what’s the issue?
Why are the lights on and water running any where in Ukraine?
Looks like Trump has walled off Graham this time around. Thankfully we don’t hear much from this war monger anymore.
So, Russia must have really bad aim, or the story is not completely honest.
NATO and its puppet Ukraine should have surrendered two years ago.
Or most of the people rushed in the subways as bomb shelters. One only has to look at the pictures to see the civilian targets that were hit.
But wait, no mention of Zelenskyy's adamant demand that there can be no peace without complete capitulation by Russia to return all land back to Ukraine.
I guess the demands are being responded to. War is hell, and this conflict could have been completely avoided had we just taken NATO membership off the table. but then again, that was not the desired goal, waging a proxy war with Russia was the goal. More blundering by Biden, or those who were really running this nation after the stolen 2020 election.
And why should there be mention of something that Zelensky has never demanded? First, Russian withdrawal from Ukraine is hardly capitulation. Second, Zelensky has not even demanded this as condition for the end of hostilities. He has admitted that Ukraine might be forced to accept de facto occupation of Ukrainian territory by Russia. What he has said, however, is that Ukraine would never legally cede the territory to Russia. Putin, on the other hand, has demanded terms that would in effect end Ukraine as an independent country. But I guess that is OK with you.
