MILTON, Fla. -- The victim in the Milton Taco Bell food-spitting incident is speaking out Tuesday, describing what she witnessed and the fallout from the incident.
WEAR News reported earlier Tuesday that 34-year-old Felicia Archer was arrested on May 6 for spitting in a customer's nacho cheese container while working at the Taco Bell on Highway 90 in Milton. She told police she did it because she believed the victim had been moving in on her boyfriend.
Archer appeared in Santa Rosa County court on Tuesday, where she pleaded no contest to the Culpable Negligence misdemeanor charge and was sentenced to six months probation.
WEAR News spoke with the victim, Karisten Royal, on Tuesday.
She says she went to pick up food with her roommate at the Taco Bell that day. But when they received their order, they realized they got more than the 10-piece nuggets and nacho fries that they ordered.
“This looks like spit. This is spit. Who the hell spits in somebody’s nacho cheese?" Royal said. "I was livid.”
Milton Police Chief Jennifer Frank called it a "unique case." It was all caught on surveillance camera.
“It looked like somebody put a snot rocket in my nacho cheese," Royal said. "It was stringy, it was disgusting. ... It looked straight like a loogie.”
“To some it may not seem like a serious crime, but it's certainly something that Milton wants to pay attention to," Chief Frank said. "We all know that we can go to our local establishments and I feel safe and know that the food that we’re getting is something that’s appropriate.”
Chief Frank says Archer is banned from the Taco Bell property.
However, Royal says she is also facing consequences, as she was an employee at the Taco Bell prior to the incident.
She had been working the dayshift while Archer was on nights. But that is no longer the case.
“The only excuse I was given when I was told to bring my uniform in to get my last check was it was all over social media, which was against Taco Bell policy," Royal said. "Mind you, it was not my doing. The other excuse that was used that apparently service was going to be going down due to the incident and Pace would be retrieving all of the service, so he had to lay people off.”
Royal is now two weeks out of a job. She says she’s struggling to find work, but she's glad she had the nerve to check her food.
Taco Bell employees could not discuss what happened Tuesday because they are not permitted to discuss personnel issues.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Wait. Someone spits in your food and YOU get fired?
Never heard that one before.
Bad headline......Taco Bell employee got fired..................
We have a local Taco restaurant called Taco Town.
Their slogan is:
Why run for the border when you can eat in Town!............
It was her food, so who did the video and post?
Quite colorful and descriptive!...................😣
Where was Jesse Jackson?
Both were employees at the same Taco Bell. It wouldn’t surprise me if the third person in the triangle was an employee as well and was let go as well.
Never date someone from where you work....................
I haven’t been to Taco Bell recently, but it is not because the food has not been good. The menu has changed over the years, and it is not as good a value as it once was.
The beans and meat mostly come pre-cooked in sealed plastic bags that are reheated in hot water. The taco shells, tortillas, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and other ingredients are usually fresh. This does not make it gourmet food, but it is consistent, and the preparation techniques are mostly idiot proof. These days that is about as good as you can hope for.
As far as I am concerned best fast food value where we live these days is the Wendy’s Junior Bacon Cheeseburger “Biggie Bag”. You get a pretty decent little burger with bacon, cheese, tomato, lettuce, etc., along with some chicken nuggets, fries, a 12oz drink from a machine with a huge number of choices, for $5 along with a little “Frosty” soft ice cream cup that is included free when you buy a $3 key tag that lasts a year.
My wife and I typically split a “Biggie Bag” about once a week when we are out and about. But when we end up with coupons or “phone app specials” from other places we sometimes go to Wendy’s competitors for a little variety. Typically, however the Wendy’s near our home has more consistent quality and is cleaner. We are fortunate to have a Golden Corral with very conscientious employees near our home, but even with the senior discount and 10% off from using their phone app it still comes to quite a bit more. But it is a completely different category of food.
We go to Wendy’s for a chili and a frosty................
A comedian once noted that where he lived, they had combo Taco Bell/Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants. He said that the employees on the Taco Bell side were Black and most of the employees on the KFC side were Mexican. He wondered if this was done to help keep the employees from stealing the food.
A long time ago it was the same here, but now the combo KFC/Taco Bell restaurant has the same windows for all the food and the employees are almost all Hispanic. There are currently not that many black fast-food workers around here except at the Popeyes chicken.
Was it them again, Yogi, or was it wilding Amish?
>snot rocket
This was like a Beavis & Butthead episode.
Nope, it was normies...............
I like Wendy's chili, and we get the “free” mini Frosties every time we visit. I have eaten a lot of it over the years. But the chili at our local Wendy's is identical to the Wendy's brand canned Chili which is available from a nearby grocery store which is quite a bit cheaper and can be heat up with very little effort. And there are other brands of canned Chili which are cheaper and taste about the same.
This is not unique. Such workers are like some waiters/tresses — feeling all entitled and immune.
Store should be closed down until they pass a series of inspections. It was management that allowed this to happen. Purge the staff.
How is this not an attack? Sue. Sue, sue, sue. Make the shop pay $$$$$.
‘It looked straight like a loogie.”
And with this quote, the term “loogie” has now entered the legal lexicon.
