Hmmm, whose job is it to investigate and hold government accountable? Whose job is it to be wary of lies and look into them? Whose job is it to be skeptical and not take things government says at face value. Whose job is it to NOT carry water for the government.

Reporters are supposed to check, then check again. Dig as deep and as long as necessary to get to the truth.
That’s the way the old bulldog reporters saw their jobs. But there are no bulldog reporters left in the mainstream media. They are all now, at best, poodle reporters.

He’s really saying, we are too stupid to notice but trust us on everything but determining an 80 year old man is senile.
I don’t think for a second that JT was lied to or that the WH lied to him. They all KNEW JB’s cognitive condition and chose to hide it for the entirety of his administration.
“They” all lied to us. Those of us who didn’t want a puppeteer running our country knew what was happening and truth about his advanced dementia.
I watched the debate with my 91-year-old father and my 92-year-old mother. They are old-time Democrats and I love them dearly, but I just remain mute while they watch legacy media and know nothing else. I am not doing to change their opinions at this time in the their lives. Neither of them have any dementia.
But at the end of the debate, I asked my father if he knew that Biden had dementia to that (any) degree, and he said NO. “I had no clue”.
That is wrong, and what JT, and Rachel Maddow, the cows on the View, and so many others have done to this country is appalling.
Has that ever been ackowledged?
