Bombshell report suggests 'Chinese spies' infiltrating prestigious US university: 'Widespread campaign'

A bombshell report out of Stanford University shed light on the influence of spies from the Chinese Communist Party that the student newspaper says have likely infiltrated the prestigious institution and other universities nationwide to gather intelligence.

The report, published by the Stanford Review, tells the story of a Stanford student working on sensitive research at the school – and given the name "Anna" to protect her identity – receiving unexpected messages from a man with the alias Charles Chen asking about seemingly harmless topics like networking opportunities.

Those messages soon took a "strange turn," according to the outlet when Chen’s questions became more personal, asking Anna if she spoke Mandarin, encouraging her to visit Beijing on a trip he would pay for, and referencing details she had never disclosed to him.

Charles advised Anna on how to enter China briefly enough to avoid visa scrutiny from authorities, told her to only communicate through the CCP-monitored WeChat and told her to delete screenshots.

"Under the guidance of experts familiar with espionage tactics, Anna contacted authorities," the article explains.

"Their investigation revealed that Charles Chen had no affiliation with Stanford. Instead, he had posed as a Stanford student for years, slightly altering his name and persona online, targeting multiple students, nearly all of them women researching China-related topics. According to the experts on China who assisted Anna, Charles Chen was likely an agent of the Chinese Ministry of State Security (MSS), tasked with identifying sympathetic Stanford students and gathering intelligence."

Fox News Digital spoke to students involved in the article who explained that there are three major takeaways from the findings of the report.

"Number one, what we saw was a full apparatus for extracting information so they would hit the students they wanted, then two, they would administer loyalty tests...

They spent millions doing so.

The greed of the administrators made it very easy.

Biden Family Members Receiving Payments from Chinese Energy Company

oversight.house,gov

WASHINGTON—Today, the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability issued a memorandum revealing new evidence resulting from the investigation into the Biden family’s influence peddling and business schemes. Subpoenaed financial records show that from 2015 to 2017, Biden family members – Hunter Biden, James Biden, Hallie Biden, and an unknown “Biden” – and their companies collectively received $1.3 million in payments from accounts related to Rob Walker, a Biden family associate.

Notably, on March 1, 2017, less than two months after Vice President Joe Biden left public office, State Energy HK Limited, a Chinese company, wired $3 million to Rob Walker’s company. The next day, the company wired $1,065,000 to a company associated with James Gilliar, another Biden family associate. Afterwards, the Biden family received approximately $1,065,000 in payments over a three-month period in different bank accounts. From the bank records, it appears that the Biden family received approximately one-third of the money obtained from the China wire.

Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) issued the following statement on this new evidence of the Biden family’s suspicious business transactions:

“Democrats described our subpoena as providing nothing more than records for Papa John’s and Starbucks, but they failed to mention the records we’ve received documenting the Biden family’s business schemes. Over the course of several years, members of the Biden family and their companies received over $1.3 million in payments from accounts related to their associate, Rob Walker. Most of this money came as a result of a wire from a Chinese energy company and went not only to Hunter and James Biden, but also to Hallie Biden and an unknown ‘Biden.’ It is unclear what services were provided to obtain this exorbitant amount of money.

“The Oversight Committee is concerned about the national security implications resulting from President Biden’s family receiving millions of dollars from foreign nationals. We will continue to follow the money trail and facts to determine if President Biden is compromised by his family’s business schemes and if there is a national security threat.”

Went to a security luncheon a couple months ago and a local guy talked about how a Chinese professor, his wife and college age daughter, were all suspected at a local university with a pretty good engineering/IT reputation. They either got tipped off or sensed that they were being watched because they left their house, contents etc. and flew back to China.

It has been an open secret for years that any Chinese national
“student” is a de facto part of Chinese intel. The “Confucian Institutes” that flourished during the last 20 years were campus headquarters for Chinese subversion until closed by Trump in 2019.

I worked in an academic library that employed a Chinese there on a student visa/green card. He was a computer expert. Shortly after he was employed, he breached the security of the university mainframe. He seemed to be making regular reports to someone who called him in our office. He only spoke Chinese to this person in lengthy conversations that seemed only one-sided—him informing the other of something important.

He went over summer breaks back to Communist China, usually taking a laptop from the university that he loaded up with software/files before he left. I once saw him online with the Confucious Institute. In the evening before I left for home, he warned me not to shut down our shared office computer because he would be working, using it remotely. I don’t know what he was working on. I should have stayed in the office and watched him with the monitor on.

He was a pleasant person, not getting close to anyone, very polite and guarded. Once, however, he slipped and made an extremely negative remark about the CIA—suggesting it was spying on people in this country and was a malevolent force.
I was suspicious of him and should have watched him more closely.
