Black female gate agents at Frontier Airlines go on an unprofessional ghetto power trip.

Wakanda Forever!
We grew up in Rochester, NY. My Dad was a Track Foreman for the NY Central Railroad. We didn't have a car, and my father had a pass for the family to ride the train for free. We'd visit friends for a weekend, take a ride to Buffalo and go to the zoo, get back on the train the same day and ride to Niagara Falls, and once a year on Labor Day, we'd ride to Syracuse to go to the State Fair. My brother and I were the youngest of the family, and my parents would take us to NY City for a weekend every once-in-a-while. We thought it was the cat's meow, and service on the train back then was much better than it is today. Every train had a dining car. The last time I took Amtrak from Rome, NY to New York City was around 2006, and the only thing they had was vending machines. Today, you can't even get a train from Rome to NY City anymore.
So why did they deny his check-in? I’m not going to watch a 10 minute Youtube video just to find out.
You needed to be checked-in by the 60-minute point prior to the flight. He showed up at the 30 to 40 minute point. Far as I can tell...he’s at the check-in counter and NOT past security (figure you can add 20 to 30 min minimum). So there’s one strike against him. Behavior of the two or three ladies at the desk? Like 5th grade kids....so there’s a strike against them.
If they had ‘helped’ him....it’s 50-50 in my opinion that his bag would have made it to the plane and left with him. That’s another point against him.
Sounds like a cool childhood- we didn’t travel much. Just around neighboring towns really. Would been cool to hop a train and go places. And yep on the service- we get less today and pay more unfortunately. Would been nice to have dining carts to chill in -
They denied his check in beczuse he wouldn’t watch a YouTube video lol j/k I ain’t gonna watch it either
There was a $25 dollar check in fee that the customer disagreed with, but said he would pay it anyway. The Spirit employees were very rude, and unprofessional towards him and refused to let him check in and board the flight. They pulled their phones out and started to record him like they were in the right. Not a good look for Spirit, the Chuck E Cheese of the airline industry.
Frontier not Spirit airlines…
In April 2006 I went overseas for the first time. I hadn't flown in years, so wanted to see as much as I could while I was gone. I got to take the Eurostar from Paris to London. The AAA agent that booked my trip (a week in London prior to a three week bus tour of the British Isles), got me a first class ticket which cost $100 at the time. It was well worth it. Very comfortable seating, and they served a hot meal of our choice plus champagne. They offered other alcoholic drinks as well. It was the best train ride I'd had in years. I just checked the cost today, and for Eurostar Plus, which I would assume is first class, it's$349, and for Eurostar Premium, it's $559.
You get what you pay for, and in today’s airline industry, it ain’t much…unless you’re doing one of those long oversea hops on Emirates or Singapore Airlines.
“I ain’t gonna watch it either”
Ditto. I might’ve watched if the title piqued my interest enough, but the verbiage just seems like click bait.
Ghetto airlines gonna ghetto.
If this is what air travel is like now, I have no desire to fly anywhere.
I have a business trip to Alabama in June and I live in NH. I’ll be driving and pay for my own hotel room half way down there and back.
They got fired.
Read the comments below the video; don’t bother sitting through the video.
Heya NFHale...how are ya?
I went the linked thread which linked to the X video, and even with the sound off, I get it completely.
That said, if I had the time, I would have watched the Hodge Twins! I really enjoy their perspective...a conservative “black” one that fits right in with my conservative “white” one!
Truth and commonsense are the same no matter the color of your skin!
Hey buddy…
Yeah, those two have a low threshold for BS from any color.
There’s no fixing these people.
