I know nostalgia, but as a kid I remember the cereal(basically sweetend Cheerios), the cereal was at least basically teaching basic english grammar.

The link has a video of some old AlphaBits commercials with the Jackson Five. They feature a young Michael Jackson with black skin and his real nose.

We can still buy it in Canada, so they are making it.
And Lucky Charms and Honeycombs.
If you can’t buy it, it’s probably a local decision by your supermarket.

Crunch up some Cheerios and you’ll have Arabic Alphabits.

the bitcoin industry has trademarked the phrase “bit” when used in commerce.
Alpha-Bits can no longer be marketed by that name.
To: DallasBiff
I’ve often wondered what a Chinese version of Alpha Bits would look like ... it would be interesting, for sure.

That History series on the origins of various American foods said “The American people eventually found out Fruit Loops don’t contain any fruit.”
News to me.
I was so shocked I couldn’t watch the rest of the episode.

I had a box a few years ago. They changed the recipie, and not in a good way. The letters were more puffed up and didn’t have the definition that the old ones did.
I remember originally the letters were more distinct and softened similarly to Post’s other cereal Honeycomb but the new version was way too puffy, had no clear way to discern letters and became more mealy and tasteless when softened.
A similar thing I think happened to Honeycomb which you can still get. Not quite the same as I remember it.
Anyone still miss the metal license plate you used to get in Honeycomb cereal?
