LOL! Yes, that’s the way it goes, isn’t it?

I was with a lifestyle chiropractic group about 5 years ago and they pushed a no-carb, intermittent fasting diet. I asked a trainer what other diets are good. “This one,” she said, pointing to hers. Their branded vitamins were outrageously expensive.

I am sorry. Any article that provides conclusions about a “study” that does not provide links to the study is questionable. It has been known for decades that low calorie diets tend to extend life spans “keto” or not.

Keto contains very little to no carbohydrates. That automatically limits calories; but as the Keto/Low Carb folks say, all calories are not the same. Carbs have very different effects on blood sugar than proteins and fats.

The Ketogenic diet was originally a treatment for pediatric epilepsy. It is still used for children with epilepsy.
