We were in Portland last year for my niece’s wedding and where we were at downtown, it was fine but there were areas where my sister said to avoid due to homeless, drugs etc. Too bad as its a beautiful state.

For Fiscal Year 2024-25, Portland has a city budget of $8.2 BILLION. That’s the annual budget.

FTA: They are going to suffer a $33 million tax revenue loss over the next five years.

That’s $0.006 billion per year. You’re telling me they can’t figure out how to balance their budget if they suffer a 0.07% shortfall?

The numbers don’t add up here.
