My son (34) thinks it is the ugliest vehicle ever (as do I). But he’s biased — he’s got a passion for beautiful cars.

We’ve been to the National Automobile Museum (The Harrah Collection) in Reno; the Blackhawk Museum in Danville, CA; the Canepa Design Museum / Showroom in Scotts Valley; and the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. And various local annual car shows through the years as well as a lot of Indy Car, sports car, and NASCAR car races. We saw the 2012 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion in Laguna Seca which celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Shelby Cobra.

6 months back, there was an MD from Cali who wanted to show how his Cybertruck could “haul” and do ranch work. He filmed himself taking three bags of feed out of the bed.

Guy got ripped on social media. Favorite comment was somebody said they stack more feed bags in their beater 1992 4-banger Honda Civic.

That’s funny. I was just telling my son earlier about Teslas being disguised with other maker’s logos. But I said you can’t do that with a cyber truck. So very funny to see that actually being done. Good sense of humour.

After a fifteen-year hiatus, the event returned to Monterey / Laguna Seca in 2019 as part of the IndyCar Series, replacing Sonoma.

We’ve been to both Sonoma and Monterey. Both are great tracks.
