Prince Harry has resigned from the charity he set up in Princess Diana's honor after a "devastating" breakdown in relations with the chair, who has alleged abuse of power, bullying, harassment, misogyny and misgynoir — misogyny directed at Black women.
Sentebale was founded by Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in Southern Africa in 2006 and has been one of the British royal's most important projects.
When he quit the palace in January 2020 it was at a dinner for Sentebale that he used a speech to justify that dramatic departure saying: “When I lost my mum 23 years ago, you took me under your wing."
It would appear the trustees asked the chair, Sophie Chandauka, to step down and she responded by suing the charity at the High Court in London. …The dispute may relate in part at least to Chandauka's drive to relocate leadership to be closer to the communities served in Southern Africa.
"For me, this is not a vanity project from which I can resign when I am called to account. I am an African who has had the privilege of a world-class education and career. I will not be intimidated. I must stand for something. I stand for those other women who do not have the ways and means."
It is not completely clear who Chandauka's allegations of bullying and harassment were directed at, and it may be they were not intended for Harry personally.
But she did make a veiled swipe at him when she said: "There are people in this world who behave as though they are above the law and mistreat people, and then play the victim card and use the very press they disdain to harm people who have the courage to challenge their conduct."

In other words, the Prince is welcome to take his ‘Poor Me!’ act further down the road. Even Africa is about done with him, at least this part of Africa.
Interesting. Hard to know what to make of this. The title is someone misleading as its not just a “Diana” charity. I can see some justification to moving it closer to those it serves, except that South Africa is a very broken country. Ithink moving any organization to South Africa, especially a charity, is probably just a prelude for it to go into full grift mode.
I am also reminded of the old proverb: No good deed goes unpunished.

But Chandauka let's fly with both barrels and makes it clear that, among other issues, Harry's bad rep was becoming a problem for fundraising, that donors were wondering why fundraising wasn't more Africa-centric, and that she was about to allow Sentebale to become an arm of the Harkles PR machine.
I am curious about something. According to Sentebale's records, Chandauka was on the board until 2015. Looks like she left and later came back as chair around 2023. I would really like to get the skinny on how she came to be hired as chair and why. Iain Rawlinson has also been made part of the board. Interesting choice.
Wonder if any or all of this had anything to do with Chuck's recent quickie hospital stay....
She is mildly attractive and had a part in a cable series, he is related to some famous people but in and of themselves they are a bit meh. Sort of like the Kardashians.

If i didn’t know any better, it sure looks like there might be something deeper to investigate here. We have the COLOMBIAN NARCOTICS police getting tax payer money to buy Invictus Games sportswear. Aren’t these games for wounded veterans? We know Prince Harry likes flying private jets for a reason and why The Biden regime stonewalled that visa. Harry is the Hunter Biden of the Royal family. The BRF needs to denounce and disown this guy.
