Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a Democrat, said Saturday that he was making a joke when he made a comment last week mocking Tesla and its CEO Elon Musk for the company’s recent downward trend in the stock market.
Walz attempted to clarify his comments during a town hall in Rochester, Minnesota.
“This guy bugs me in a way that’s probably unhealthy,” Walz said, referring to Musk. “I have to be careful about being a smarta--. I was making a joke. These people have no sense of humor. They are the most literal people.”
“But my point was, they’re all mad, and I said something I probably shouldn’t have about a company,” he continued. […]
“They’re all butthurt about the Tesla thing, but they don’t care about the disrespect they have shown to employees at the Minneapolis VA who care for our veterans, and they fire them. They don’t care,” the governor said.
“Maybe it’s just me. If I’m the richest man in the world, I’m like out on the streets handing out money,” he added. “It’d be fun as hell just to help people out. Go help people out. Not this guy.” …

Tampon Tim Walz has put himself in serious trouble. The state of Minnesota has million shares of Tesla in its retirement fund, and hundreds of thousands of shares of Tesla in its non-retirement fund.

Walz is the chairman of the Minnesota State Board of Investment (SBI) which owns and manages those shares.

This is stock manipulation by someone who controls millions of dollars of those shares. Since he breached the Duty of Loyalty due to intentional misconduct, he could face:
-Compensatory Damages (any losses the pension fund took)
-Punitive Damages (additional damages to punish egregious behavior and deter future misconduct)
-Injunctions (court orders intended to prevent him from doing it again).
For starters, he needs to be removed from the chair of the board, and should be removed from ANY involvement with the board. What chairman of a board attacks its own investments?
He also needs to be investigated to see if he or any family, associates, or co-conspirators shorted the Tesla stock, or bought any stock that the pension fund intended to buy as a substitute for Tesla stock.
Walz IS a joke...an not-funny one.

His constituents include pensioners. They depend upon the return of investments. Over 3% of pensions’ holdings are in Tesla. His coming out saying he hopes the stock crashes is like yelling “fire” in a theater. He is an irresponsible jerk — which is why he was an ideal Veep pick.

Deranged Democrat domestic terrorists are in the process of taking down Tesla and by doing so, Democrats expect to force Musk's immediate resignation from his White House DOGE position which would be a disaster for the Trump Administration. Democrats' ultimate goal is the impeachment and removal of President Trump from office. Destroying DOGE, Tesla, and Musk is the Democrats' first step in that process.

Digital IDs would become mandatory.
