Tim Walz says he was joking when he mocked Tesla's falling stock: 'These people have no sense of humor'

First he was a “knucklehead”; now he’s a “smarta--.”

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a Democrat, said Saturday that he was making a joke when he made a comment last week mocking Tesla and its CEO Elon Musk for the company’s recent downward trend in the stock market.

Walz attempted to clarify his comments during a town hall in Rochester, Minnesota.

“This guy bugs me in a way that’s probably unhealthy,” Walz said, referring to Musk. “I have to be careful about being a smarta--. I was making a joke. These people have no sense of humor. They are the most literal people.”

“But my point was, they’re all mad, and I said something I probably shouldn’t have about a company,” he continued. […]

“They’re all butthurt about the Tesla thing, but they don’t care about the disrespect they have shown to employees at the Minneapolis VA who care for our veterans, and they fire them. They don’t care,” the governor said.

“Maybe it’s just me. If I’m the richest man in the world, I’m like out on the streets handing out money,” he added. “It’d be fun as hell just to help people out. Go help people out. Not this guy.” …

Yeah; sure it’s a joke.

It was a joke. Mean-spirited and I hate the guy, but a joke.

Sure it was.

More like he’s trying to hide behind the old saying of “many a true word has been spoken in jest” with his backpedal.

Of course he’s glad to see it go down, but he said it as a joke.

Godless reprobate Tim Walz is who the anti-Christ spirit worshiping NWO wanted on the Throne of America.

He and his beard wife are (of) the ones who hate Babylon the Great and want to burn her with fire.

LOL, why resort to ad hominem to defend Walz?

People like Walz are humorless. Their vile actions are their true personality. Like their forerunner Lenin, they believe in the idea that they must hate.

Opus?

Walz literally has blood on his hands going back his actions in 2020 w.r.t. the Floyd riots, but here he’s joking. Sure. Opus?

“If I’m the richest man in the world, I’m like out on the streets handing out money”. Socialists always claim that, but they never do it. Because they’re really the greediest people in the world, and they lie about it. When they get power all they do is hoard wealth to themselves. Elon has actually given a lot, but they won’t acknowledge it.

Having previously endured years of living in MN., during the Tim Walz years of failure, I can say firsthand....
He never ceases to reinforce the fact that he is one of the dumbest, densest, lying blowhards I’ve ever witnessed.
He tries to cover his ineptness by acting tough, and yelling at his constituents. It’s a failed strategy.
Without the well-oiled DFL vote fraud machine, he and Klobuchar would be making fries at a burger stand, or in his case, just walking the street, yelling at clouds.

I’m the oldest of the generation in my family. I have a younger brother and lots of younger cousins. When I would act up, my mother, father, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. would always pull me aside and say, “It’s your responsibility to set a good example. Your brother/cousins look up to you.” Every time. Without fail. It became this stigma that I couldn’t shake. Always had to do everything right, follow directions. If I swore, the others would think it was okay. If I had a tantrum, the others would think it was okay.

Ultimately, people pay attention to the words and deeds of people they, in Walz’s case, inexplicably, think are leaders. While I find Walz to be insufferable, drole, and completely lacking in substance, these psychotic lefties loved to be whipped into a froth. He knew what he was doing. He knew that people glom onto his “leadership,” no matter how lacking it really is. It’s a stretch, but it’s like he’s yelling fire in a movie theater at this point. It’s obvious the left wants to have their flames fanned, and he’s doing it through his rhetoric.

This isn’t an accident, and he’ll never be held accountable for the downstream impacts. No politician ever is.

He's the Governor of a state that probably has a large percentage of state employee retirement funds invested in Tesla.

That's just grossly irresponsible. And possibly illegal.

Once he was informed that the state of Minnesota’s pension system was invested in Telsa and the drop in price was adversely impacting the pension value, he changed his tune. He had no idea of this until it was pointed out to him by Stephen Miller, who actually did the research and was more informed about the State of Minnesota pension system than the actual governor of the state. Walz is a joke.

Reading the headline, I immediately recall Johnny Ringo’s conversation in the woods with Doc Holliday in the hit movie TOMBSTONE.

Did Walz lift his response from some inane Hollywood script?

DCPatriot posted “I immediately recall Johnny Ringo’s conversation

just how incredibly-stupid he truly is
