Let me guess: it’s the mooselimb invaders acting up again.

SOS Bomb in US Base in Sigonella, Houses Evacuated. But It Was a False Alarm
Bad marinara?
Anybody see that maggot Hakeem Skyhook slinking around pulling alarms.
As of today, February 26, 2025, at 10:07 AM EST, there was indeed a lockdown at Naval Air Station Sigonella in Sicily, Italy, earlier this morning. The lockdown began around 7:54 AM local time (1:54 AM EST) due to a security incident involving a suspected vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) at the NAS 2 entry control point. Out of caution, a shelter-in-place order was issued for NAS 2 at approximately 8:38 AM local time (2:38 AM EST).However, the situation has since been resolved. After a thorough investigation by Naval Security Forces, alongside Italian explosives disposal specialists and local police, the suspected threat was determined to be a false alarm. The lockdown and shelter-in-place order were lifted at 11:25 AM local time (5:25 AM EST), and no injuries were reported.
Traffic into and out of the base has resumed normally. So, while the rumor of a lockdown was true earlier today, it is no longer in effect as of this moment. The base is back to regular operations, and the incident has been cleared with no credible threat found.
Nice - I haven’t had a chance to really work with Grok yet, but I’ve seen a lot of people posting results from there.
I went there once TDY to fix one of our planes that had to divert there due to an engine malfunction.
Traffic into and out of the base has resumed normally.
Good to hear. I worked at Sigonella NAS-2 for nine years.
That squid ink pasta comes alive if you don’t use it quickly.
Note much has been made of Italy’s new approach to their military. Very pro Trump.
I’ve never been there, but it’s probably a beautiful spot.
