The Secret Service is investigating after a New Jersey teacher allegedly threatened President Trump on social media.
Fred Wilson, a special education and social studies teacher at Egg Harbor Township High School, allegedly wrote, “I think we are at the moment where assassination is at least a talking point,” on Facebook, according to the Secret Service and reports.
The post first came under fire after a screenshot of his account was shared on the Libs of TikTok X account.
“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of the incident involving comments made online by a teacher in the Egg Harbor Township, NJ,” the Secret Service told The Post. “…The Secret Service takes all threats related to our protectees seriously.”
Another of Wilson’s social media posts read, “F--- Trump and F--- You for Voting for Him.”
Trump survived two assassination attempts before the November election.
Egg Harbor Township Schools are investigating, Superintendent Kim Gruccio told the Press of Atlantic City.

The *city* of Egg Harbor (a little more than 4,000 people) has voted against Trump all 3 times.
The *township* of Egg Harbor (somewhere around 50,000 people) finally gave Trump a win in 2024 after 2 previous losses. It also voted for Obama twice, and Cory Booker. The area as a whole isn't particularly Republican, nevermind being conservative. Typically the only parts of Atlantic County which are further to the left than the city of Egg Harbor are the dual anti-White shitholes of Atlantic City and Pleasantville.

Tell me about it. If a black dude gets lost and runs into one of those right-wing, racist, camps, he’ll likely get food and drink, and maybe a ride to where he was going. If that same black dude gets lost in the hood...(we know the rest).
When a school shooter performs the act, and is then found to have made public statements, and written a “manifesto”, people are outraged at the fact that no one did anything, prior to the act.
Here you have the public statement. Are you advocating doing nothing, until the next step? Don’t be ridiculous!
This is incitement, conspiracy, or premeditation of an act, and needs to be closely scrutinized prior to that act.

Not at all. I suspect you mis-read, or mis-interpreted my comment.
I stated that threats of violence need to be investigated and death threats to the President warrant an SS visit and criminal charges. Manifestos and online posts calling for violence warrant action.
I also stated that merely saying "F*** Trump" (or Biden or Obama or GWB) or their supporters is not a threat, it's a statement of contempt and is protected political speech.
I thought the distinction I drew was pretty clear. Surely you don't advocate that the police investigate every American who shouted "F*** Joe Biden" (or "Let's Go Brandon") at a sports event, or who wrote such things online.
Last night, my granddaughter told me that one of her teachers took week off from school when Trump was elected.
And they are not very bright. Education majors are typically at the bottom of the class.
I'm not a lawyer, but I think that goes too far. My view is that you can say any damn thing you want to, no matter how crazy, as long as you don't threaten harm to someone or someone's property. Threatening to kill the President goes too far.
I don’t think people realize the state of our so-called ‘public teachers’. They’re crazed leftists and have the maturity of a toddler. They believe it’s THEIR classroom and THEIR kids - when neither are true. We need a complete overhaul of the education system.
They may be all mouth, but their words may embolden someone who is more determined.
