For me it’s more about the freedom of choice than it is about light bulbs.

I find they burn out twice as fast as incandescent bulbs and cost twice as much.

Yes! That would be winning.
Given GE and other incandescent manufacturers were the people pushing to kill the incandescent, so they could make higher margins selling LEDs etc, don’t expect them to show up on your store shelves soon. They sold off and scrapped the manufacturing equipment years ago.
I want to buy them.
They give off IR levels that are healthy for you and D3 production in your bod.
I still have my old machine. Never got rid of it, and don’t plan to do anything but repair it forever.

Who’s going to make incandescent lightbulbs? You might as well be cranking out 45 RPM records. The market would be tiny. LED’s just last longer and cost me less in electricity. And they last WAY longer than incandescents.
Assuming a manufacturer will start making them again. And who’s going to do that?

The objective is reduced power consumption for the same amount of light. That allows power generation consume less full, which translates to reduced emissions.
They don’t all last longer. I find they have a high failure rate.
Well, all I can tell you is that I’ve replaced the LED ones in one bathroom fixture over and over, and in the other bathroom, used just as frequently, those old incandescent bulbs are still going.
As for the color, yes, they’ve finally come out with some LEDs that have light similar to incandescent bulbs. It’s just I have to look at every stupid package out there to make sure I get the right kind.
Used to be, you just went to the store and got 60, 75, or 100 watt bulbs. It was simple. Buying LEDs bulbs now is a hassle.
I’m not into the idea that what I do on this planet has any bearing on this planet’s existence. I think God takes care of that.
low flow shower heads. High efficiency washers. I’ve put a pod in an HE washer and had it come out of the washer and through the dryer intact. Never got wet.
Me too. I never had an incandescent bulb go "pop" and then fall from the ceiling. The power supplies in those things are not reliable even if the LED itself might be.
Good deal now I can remove the mirrors around the lamps to make it brighter in the room.
I would buy 45s if they made them again. We have quite a collection of vinyl that we listen to almost every evening.
