When you aren’t earning, the idea of “we demand to get what’s ours” is nice, but then when you have earned and people demand to get THEIRs from yours, that’s when thing hurt.
What are needed are:
1. Raise the voting age to 25
2. Send college students to learn of the evils of communism by visits to Romania, Poland, Cambodia.
3. Send them to places where communism works - inside kibbutzes and monasteries —> yes, communism works in these closed communities and can only work in closed communities united by a common religious idea and with a strict hierarchy (like bees). And yet these also have a leader who is to be obeyed. AND these entities function as a “corporate person” - they sell and buy with other persons
That’s ok. I’m overpaid for what I do anyway.

Well. That is the draw, isn’t it? When you see these things, EVERYONE is all onboard for it because they all believe THEY will be part of the “Inner Party”.
They are the same ones who, when being dragged out of bed in the middle of the night, scream “What are you doing this for? I am on your side? I fought for this! What have I done wrong?”
Stalin’s purges did in fact include many who were later considered “loyal communists”. Mao rounded up many different groups as he grew more psychotic, including simple gardeners and people with glasses. A revolution needs enemies, and as the list of them grows thin more enemies must be invented. It’s sort of like Islam in the sense that when there are no more infidels to kill, the next enemy to target are those who aren’t “Islamic enough”.
We have people high up in our own government who believe just that. Fewer, now that Trump is in office, but they certainly inhabit the Deep State.
