On February 9, the players, coaches and owners of either the Philadelphia Eagles or Kansas City Chiefs will win a coveted Super Bowl ring. The rings, which are understood to cost between $30,000 (£24,000) and $50,000 (£40,000), are widely considered to be one of the most iconic and beautiful awards in sport today.
Few people are more familiar with the gleaming pieces of jewellery than New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who watched his iconic side win six Super Bowls. Yet, the multi-billionaire only has five rings, as Russian president Vladimir Putin has the other one.
Kraft, 83, visited Russia on a business trip in 2005 and found himself shaking hands with Putin, before showing off the Super Bowl ring he had only recently collected at the time. Putin took it, admired it, put it in his pocket and then walked away, according to mind-boggling recounts from Kraft and other people in Moscow. While this happened, the Russian leader also uttered a chilling message to those in the room.
-snip-
Kraft said: "I took out the ring and showed it to him, and he put it on and he goes 'I can kill someone with this ring'. I put my hand out and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out."

The starting point in these matters is to understand there is zero manufacturing advantage held by the US. Or China if they were made there.
Russia’s machinists are no different, neither superior nor inferior, to anywhere else. If the rings could be made one place, they could be made any place.
Nice retort, if limp. Old story courtesy of the EXPRESS. I haven't argued about the ring, Kraft or Putin, but only to note the aging of the story. As to Super Bowl rings and such, we don't watch Super Bowls anyway. We're going to an evensong, though.

marcUSAIDimus and his handler Samantha Power will be distressed by this inconvenient link.
Just one of many instances of Putin displaying that he’s a psychopath and thug.
Didn’t he just throw a sports figure out a window for daring to criticize him?
More Ruzzia SPAM in a can from Maxipad.
First of all Putin IS a murderer. Second, he then stole the ring.
The US State Department then made Kraft say it was a “misunderstanding”.
😀
None of which matters to the question at hand. The question at hand is:
Is it “chilling” for a person upon seeing a ring big enough to be the business end of a mace to say “I could kill somebody with this”?
And the answer to that is:
No. Not at all. SB rings are massive and heavy, and you probably could somebody with them.
Yes Putin is a POS, as I already stipulated. But that statement is NOT “chilling” most of the people I know (admittedly many of them SCA veterans) would say the exact same thing.
I’m sure Kraft collected the Insurance and lived happily ever after.

“Thou shalt not steal” applies to everyone, regardless of their pretended or sincere belief in their own victimhood, desire for reparations for imaginary suffering, ability to squirt crocodile tears, or other attempts to self justify their own sins without Christ.
My advice is to never wear jewelry when around a mobster, never pander to a bully, you will get burned. He is lucky to still have his finger and not to have been arrested to use in bartering, and not to have been poisoned or pitched out a window.
Tell spamusmaximus to give FR back.
BTW, I thought you cubical-boiZ had your USAID funding suspended.
Working for free, expecting back pay if funding resumes?
