On February 9, the players, coaches and owners of either the Philadelphia Eagles or Kansas City Chiefs will win a coveted Super Bowl ring. The rings, which are understood to cost between $30,000 (£24,000) and $50,000 (£40,000), are widely considered to be one of the most iconic and beautiful awards in sport today.
Few people are more familiar with the gleaming pieces of jewellery than New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who watched his iconic side win six Super Bowls. Yet, the multi-billionaire only has five rings, as Russian president Vladimir Putin has the other one.
Kraft, 83, visited Russia on a business trip in 2005 and found himself shaking hands with Putin, before showing off the Super Bowl ring he had only recently collected at the time. Putin took it, admired it, put it in his pocket and then walked away, according to mind-boggling recounts from Kraft and other people in Moscow. While this happened, the Russian leader also uttered a chilling message to those in the room.

Kraft said: "I took out the ring and showed it to him, and he put it on and he goes 'I can kill someone with this ring'. I put my hand out and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out."

Could be just a cultural thing. I used to socialize fairly regularly with Russians. Once when at a dinner party, I admired the hosts wrist-watch. He promptly removed it, and handed it to me as a gift. A rather nice gift, at that.
Why not just have your local machinists create that ring in the smallest detail, and then create another thousand or so and distribute them through the United States.
Maybe Putin has more than just that one.
Trillions in waste every year, asset forfeiture, eroding of religious liberty and this is major concern.

Putin Derangement Syndrome strikes again.
Here’s a gem that RT pointed me to. It’s basically a list of what’s expected of Zelensky, or else. It was almost certainly written by USAID and then forwarded to dozens of groups in Ukraine, which we now know were (maybe still are) paid by USAID.
What’s ironic about the list is that it basically explains EVERYTHING regarding Ukraine, from their extensive human rights violations to why the war even stared (they prohibited Zelensky from pulling back on trying to join NATO, for example). The list also explains why Zelensky did a 180 regarding his top campaign promise, which was to achieve peace with Russia.
Nice to have all the crap that led up to the war in one place, finally!

They cost so much because a) they are absolutely huge and b) everything in them is very real. I have a friend that was with Tampa when they won. He showed me his ring and let me hold it. It really is incredibly impressive.
Is it possible that with the language barrier that Putin thought it was a gift, i.e. a bribe, Standard Operating Procedure in many countries?

What is certain is that the attempts to avoid war, several times over and until Biden-Harris was in power, were thwarted by Western actors like Johnson from the UK.
President Trump has said, had the Democrat "coup" not taken place and he had been in office in 2021, war might have been avoided. Going forward, it will be most interesting to watch these next steps for all sides.
Far more important to me are the revelations that opening up the many scandals of USAID -- Biden and Power and that whole Obama holdover cabal -- is showing. First things first, and American first.
