Trump is trying to tell Gaza you can either live in a bombed out dump or we can rebuild it to a Med resort area.

I agree. Gaza was an unnecessary distraction from the real prize - draining the swamp here, not in the Mideast. Unnecessarily pissing off your supporters isn’t the smartest move.

His remarks have also empowered some of the nutters in Israel. There are reports this morning about Israel preparing to make arrangements to deport Palestinians from Gaza in line with Trump's proposal.Needless to say,this is going over like a lead balloon with Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.
