Rachel Feltman: The public health world is filled with heroes, but it doesn’t exactly produce a ton of celebrities. One notable exception is Anthony Fauci. This physician-scientist and immunologist is best known to most people for his service as chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden from 2021 to 2022. But while his work during the worst of the COVID pandemic made him a household name, Fauci has been a celebrated figure in his field for decades, thanks to his nearly 40-year tenure as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. His new book, On Call: A Doctor’s Journey in Public Service, offers fresh insight into his life and work.

No wonder Biden gave him a pardon.
The Beagles are waiting for his soul.
“His new book”

On Call: A Doctor’s Journey ... my Aunt Fani....
From the BigPharma/drug patent holder who has NEVER seen REAL patients in a doctor’s office ...and, has ONLY worked for the gov’t.
He should be sentenced to the Graybar Hotel.
Scientific American? Dead to me for over 30 years.
Because he knows his days as a free man are numbered.
Because he won’t be able to make millions off of it.
He was a fraud the day he tied AIDS to children by domicile rather than by sexual intercourse.
and the fleas.
“Scientific American,” the late magazine. It’s dead to me.
They just forgot to add a word to the magazines new name.
Political Science American, regardless they are garbage and anything but scientific.
[Public Division] == [Public Finding Out What He Did].
NOT Scientific,
NOR American.

The only thing this prick is worrying about is going to jail. And he is going to jail
I have been making that comparison for at least 4 years now...
He is evil.
Bird flu should be the last thing on this SOB’s mind.
He should be looking at leaving quietly for some country that has no extradition treaty with the USA...
Oh look! SciAm is shilling for Dr. Gain-of-Function. Shocking, right?
Oh please. What a pantload.
Scientific American WAS one of my favorite magazines. I did not understand every single article, but it made me think and explore/learn even more.
The scientific method works ever time it is used. Too bad the current pablum is anything but scientific.
Here is the latest great example of real science. The wizards of smart believe they ‘know’ certain things about our universe. Each time we stretch the envelope, and learn more, some of those wizards cannot adapt. The James Webb Infrared Space Telescope is discovering, and upending all kinds of ‘science.’ The Hubble Space Telescope can ‘see’ in the visual spectrum to a certain distance ‘out there.’ The Webb Telescope can ‘see’ farther into the universe. What Webb continues to find does not compute to the ‘experts.’ Fully formed galaxies and such. What is beyond Webb’s ability to detect. ‘Experts’ will dream up theories, and those theories will be upended, no doubt.
G-d gave us the tools and curiosity to explore. It is wonderful to put that curiosity to work. It is a shame that Scientific American flushed real science decades ago.
