Meet the man who lives with over 1,000 tarantulas — and travels up and down England helping people overcome their fears of creepy crawlies.

Aaron Phoenix, 37, began accumulating them in the summer of 2021 to help with his mental health and believes he was “born to save spiders.”

He keeps the spiders across two locations — his “tarantula cave” in his house and a separate premises used for breeding — and says the biggest is the size of a dinner plate.

In other news, Aaron Phoenix, 37, was found dead in his spider cave, his corpse being mostly eaten by a large number of tarantulas. Investigators say that he had been bitten by a brown recluse spider, one of several that had found their way in. The uneaten portion of his remains was cremated as, according to officials, it was very difficult to look at.

He better hope he never runs out of tarantula food late at night and then falls asleep watching the telly.

One would suspect Aaron still needs help with his mental health. Anyone to embrace a tub full of spiders might have a problem or two. What is his concept of himself? Does he often wish that he was a spider too?

They can jump five feet and have a turbo mode that enables them to sprint at 30 mph.

I will not be visiting this establishment.

As I understand it , and don’t most things, the tarrntella was originally a method of preventing the spider bit patient from going into shock by keeping them moving and the blood flowing. Also, put h as of sn onion on your head keep from crying when you are cutting them.

Who? The spider, the victim or yourself as you're cutting the onion on your head? :D

I couldn’t restrain myself:

Itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
And the itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the spout again
The itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
And the itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the spout again
The itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
And the itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the spout again
The itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
And the itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the spout again
