When the dress code improves, the conduct improves as well. If this improves calm and decorum on the plane, I’m for it. And yes, I fly Spirit when it is the cheapest nonstop on the route I’m taking.

I only used them once and the first time was with a melanated lady who wanted to put a Caesar salad into the overhead compartment and then got angry when the crew cut her off at her third drink, and then cancelled my flight back the night before.

BOOMER HERE - I can remember flying back in the 1960s and 70s. Men wore suits, women dresses, children in their Sunday best. People were friendly and had manners.

I stopped flying when airlines became Greyhounds in the sky.
