It was different back in the 70s maybe, but someone could have gotten hurt.
Only that the police officer in the article said “kids were throwing snowballs”.
I’m pretty sure we’re down to 1 out of five and 1 out of 3 in some places.
People do not like to be annoyed. If you are lucky all they do is grumble at you. But I never understood the way some parents let their children annoy adults and claim "it is all in good fun".
It is rude and it is dangerous.
And for the people who claim that thing used to be different, not really. 50 years ago if the rude little snot was lucky he just got a beating. Sometimes they disappeared.
West Hartford has changed from my childhood.
However west hartford is attracting lots of business snd money.
we’ve been living in a lawless society for the past four years...
people are on edge...
hate the people that transformally changed america...
I worked at Trinity College in the early ‘90s, when Tucker Carlson attended. Area was dicey even then. My father worked at Coleco in the early ‘80s. I contracted at Pratt and Whitney in the mid-90s, and I was sweet on a girl in East Hartford in the early 90s. I worked at West Hartford MicroAge/DeSai. in the mid-90s. I cannot imagine Avon being like the Berlin Turnpike. I had a pal there who lived near the cider mill and worked at the HiJo’s.
No point in going back. I miss the New Deal Steakhouse and Valle’s.
Screw you. Growing up in Wisconsin it was a past time. Of course you’re a California panzie. It fits! Very sad, go die in your snow flake hill.
I have never lived in CA. I was taught to respect other people property. Sorry you never had parents who cared enough about you to teach you right from wrong.
Are you ok if they were at work?
Kids do stupid shit, adults know that.
I lived behind the rocks on Zion and Harbison Ave right across from Trinity , My wife and I used to walk to the White Swan right down the road for music and drinks also the Irish pub was 3 blocks away, great fun and music. I worked at Whitney Chain right down the road so I could walk to work. After moving we went to Collinsville for a few years till we built a house up in Hartland. Spent many times at HoJo’s on 44 and the Pentangle pub up the road. Good times.
Go pound sand. Throwing snow balls at cars was normal as a kid and everyone growing up did it. So now roll off the 10 commandments and tell me right from wrong. Leftist troll that was probably left in a closet. Sorry that you had that or some other evil experience. But I don’t generally play with the twisted. I bury you. Go check the history, it’s 13 fR years long. Your night of the long knives may be here, just for you. Founded
I am familiar with Hartford.
Snowball is the generic term. I am sure they didn’t identify the specific snowball.
It seemed you were trying to imply that it was something other than grade school kids throwing snowballs, like they were making dangerous or destructive ice balls or something. I didn’t see anything in the article to even imply the kids were doing anything wrong.
Same here but the police let us go.
Man the punishment for throwing snowballs has gotten extreme since my days
The same place mine were when I was out throwing snowballs at cars......at home preparing dinner.
It must have sucked when you were growing up as a kid........don't do this, don't do that, get in the house....
Thank you.
