So he’s a bit before my time and I do not know much about his acting — but God is using James Woods right now with the social media platform he has. And I think shining that that extra bit of favor on him given the task he has as a mouthpiece for truth and righteousness in Hollywood.
Praise God his home was spared.
Amen!
He’s been a quality help to all of his neighbors during many a crisis. A good guy by all accounts.
Know he’s facing devastation all around him but glad he did not lose his home. The CNN interview he did was so sad.
May he be a beacon for his community and some of his neighbors wake up a bit to the importance of electing competent officials.
So happy for James Woods…he’s one of the really good ones.
Wow! Good news. Amazing miracle, actually.
Good on Kristinn; great coverage, great article. Keep ‘em coming! :)
Ping!
And to put icing on the cake, That Mizzou professor who cheered the news that Woods’ home burned down as Karma for Woods’ Trump support can choke on the turn of events, and try to come to grips that it was mostly leftist celebrities who lost their homes.
How do you like THAT karma, Perfesser???
I hope he buys a generator and a pump to use water from his pool to keep his roof wet the next time a fire comes around. A whole system ready to run at the push of a button.
thank God!

That is great for Mr. Woods! I felt bad for him when he was talking about his home a few days ago.
I can’t imagine you’d find much comfort or joy in your surviving home when you are looking out in all directions at a horrible moonscape. Sitting on your deck by your pool just won’t be the same. The stench of the fire will remain for a long time as will the bad memories. I expect a lot of “survivor’s guilt” among those whose property did not burn.
BIG Smile on my face right now!
I hope the new evac order in Palisades isn’t anywhere near James Wood’s place
- Brentwood, Encino evac-Mandeville Canyon to 405, Encino Reservoir to Brentwood
8 aircraft conducting water drops
Great news I hope there’s not too much smoke damage etc.
From wiki..
“In 2018, Woods turned his Twitter feed into a bulletin board for missing California wildfires’ evacuees, and was credited with saving lives and helping to reunite missing loved ones and pets with their families. He provided aid to actresses Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano, with the latter thanking him for his help saving her horses.”
I'm happy for him that his house survived.
But...
If his whole neighborhood is devastated, are the power lines functional? Are the water mains functional? Are the gas mains functional?
He may have his house, but if the electrical grid is down how long will it take LA to get basic services restored to just one home in a destroyed area? When will postal services return to his home?

Once Upon A Time in Palisades.
Twitter vid linked at site...shows drone view of Pacific Palisades, homes reduced to ashes, yet plenty of trees appear intact. How can that be?
I read the comments on the Yahoo reposted article on this.
The libs are saying ridiculous things like he should take back his criticism of politicians because his house survived.
They act as if all he cares about is his own house, not his community.
But they forget he took the initiative to find out if his 94 year old neighbor had evacuated. The guy’s caretaker and out-of-state son had not confirmed this (not blaming them, they may not have known of the seriousness of the situation).
Woods action to make sure the guy got out is to his great credit. It shows more concern for his community than any of the million dollar contributions other celebrities have announced (though they should get some appreciation for their contributions)
the people posting the replies are truly sick in the head to say what they say just for crass political reasons.
All that whining he did was for nothing. Celebrities are such attention whores.
