Just report the news as it happens the way it happens and let the chips fall where they may.
No editorializing except on editorial pages and shows.

Ever since Woodward and Bernstein, so-called “journalists” all dream of being the next giant killer. Too bad nobody appointed them to that position. Reporters who want to be the story, instead of just telling the story, are one big reason for media’s demise.
60 Minutes is worst with their cleverly concocted hit pieces.

My brain spent a couple of cycles trying to make that title say Lesley Stahl had died.
True. That said I don’t think they are completely dead just diminished and perhaps from their self perception that is like being dead. They think they are so wonderful that anything not positive is the end of the world to them. Like their followers who freaked out over Trump winning they are mentally ill.

There is no such thing as “the news”.
What stories to report and what stories to ignore is a judgment call driven by the biases of the reporter, editor, publisher, station or newspaper or website owner etc.
We are better served when everyone declares their biases and conflicts of interest up front.
“Big Pharma is a major advertiser of this station. For this reason we will be supporting their views on all issues.”

It took me a while to realize that was Noonan, I thought they’d dug up Kate Hepburn.
When Peggy was a speechwriter for Pres. Reagan she seemed O.K. But somehow she fairly soon lurched to the left, and her descent into the liberal craphole was amazing. Last I knew anything, Noonan was STILL single.
Lesley, YOU are a reason MSM is dying. A perfect example of why your business is dying is your treatment of Donald Trump on his “60 Minutes” appearance with you.

The left is for all intents and purposes completely Godless, which means all they have to worship are things of this world.
Money, power, fame, climate.....whatever, so in their minds there will be no accountability for their deeds......sad really.

Americans of all political stripes could watch Walter Cronkite. We all knew he was a leftist, but he kept that within tolerable limits.
